mattig89ch
Hidy ho all, I'm going through the admiral thrawn trilogy right now, and I'm noticing something odd. The way they treat storm troopers in the books, is like some elite forces. The best of the best for imperial ground forces. But every time one of our heroes encounters them, they seem easily out witted, or just killed. some times en mass. So my question is, are they really some elite forces, or just some schmucks in trooper armor?
Bob Lion54
Whatever is most convenient for the story at the time.
Zoom Rabbit
They retired the surviving clone troops after the end of the Clone War on Kasshyk, and they (Jango clones) interbred with wookiees. Although both parent species were on their own quite formidable, the actuality of genetic combination has its own humorous way of bringing out the lesser traits in their progeny. Storm troopers are consequently ugly, hairy, smell bad and have the combat reactions of a stoned tree sloth. Fire at will. They're all named Will.
