Three Headed Stan Posted May 20, 2001 Posted May 20, 2001 Great game. Unlike the others, I sorta find the Monkey Kombat thingy to be pretty cool. The last scene of Giant Statue Le Chuck vs. Giant Monkey Head Robot was pretty cool. I used to think that EMI was FAAR behind CMI, but after finishing the game, I feel that they are both as entertaining - but two different games. EMI is more a minigame, where you'd enjoy the Monkey Island series in full 3D, and enjoy new and breathtaking visuals and technology in the Monkey Island universe. CMI is more of like a genuine adventure game, where you'd only put things together, slowly solve some interesting puzzles(I know EMI has it too - but CMI had far more then that), and click, CLIck, CLICK. Question: Why in the world did Elaine's monkey Timmy kick Guybrush down the hill? Why did Elaine ignore him and walk away? I don't really get the last joke. What Guybrush said(from the list) wasn't that offensive. Anyway, you mean we'd see Guybrush down a hill at the beginning of the next sequal? I remember Ron "the Daddy" Gilbert saying how he'd seen the relationship between the two as more older sister and pesky younger brother and that CMI had lost sight of that.
