Guest Tie Guy
Yeah, well i'm starting simple at first, then i'll make something more complex. But you gotta admit, a commando level would be fun.

Paragon_Leon
A 'trigger' is a feature in the AOK scenario-editor that allows for certain things to happen if you do certain things. Does that make sense ? For instance: if you'd edit a scenario for GB in Cloud City, you'd have Leia escape with her friends. Once they would go through a certain hallway, you could 'trigger' lots of troops coming their way. Game developers use triggers to let their scenario's have a real story-feel.. Guest Generalchang
Probably, Tie Guy. But, I fear that when Battlegrounds comes out the site will be flooded with scenarios just like that. That's why I am going to try to create something a little more original. But who knows?
Compa_Mighty
Originally posted by Tie Guy *cough*off-topic*cough* excuse me. Anyways, will someone please post how to do triggers in AOK? I really want to know, as i don't own the game. Of course we can. A trigger turns on special actions in your units, terrain ,etc. The most common way of doing them is the next: You Create a trigger. You create a condition- There are different conditions, including: Timer, Bring object to object, etc. You create an effect- These are: change possession, change objective etc. For example let's suppose you want your Player 1 Militia to turn to player's 2 miltia, when you destroy a barracks. The trigger would look like this: Trigger 1 Condition1: Destroy object (You set the barracks as the object) Effect1: Change possession (You set you Militia as the object which will be converted) and set : Origin player: Player 1 Target Player: Player 2 Hope it was useful. If not, tell me an I'll explain again.
