Padawan1587246512 Posted July 20, 2001 Posted July 20, 2001 It would be interestin to include some editors in the game like it was done for Unreal Tournament.
Wilhuf Posted July 20, 2001 Posted July 20, 2001 We're all hoping that Radiant, the editing tool for Q3-technology based games, will ship with Jedi Outcast. Neither Raven nor LucasArts have confirmed this, but some of us are optimistic that some form of Radiant for Jedi Outcast will be delivered. At minimum, we're hoping that the existing versions of Radiant will work with Jedi Outcast. Check our Radiant Editor Resources and Links Thread for information on Radiant.
KillerBee Posted July 21, 2001 Posted July 21, 2001 after playing with q3rad.. I hope they make a nice new editor, which is easier to use id needs to goto the guys at code alliance for tips on user friendlyness tho I supose when I get used to it it will be ok, jed was weird to start wif.
Oreckel Posted October 11, 2001 Posted October 11, 2001 Q3Radiant it very easy to use. I like it alot, and no matter how raven makes JK2, q3rad will always work with those maps. It's simply new maps and new textures. Not much more. However there will be nothing to edit if they don't release any of thery're .map files
StephenG Posted October 12, 2001 Posted October 12, 2001 Raven did release editing tools for Elite Force expansion pack but…
SlowbieOne Posted October 12, 2001 Posted October 12, 2001 Come on Raven old buddies, don't fail me now!
Wilhuf Posted October 12, 2001 Posted October 12, 2001 Well, q3radiant would have to be able to support JKO's unique entities as well. That might not be a problem if the actual q3radiant is unaffected by entity types. Compiling might be difficult, though.
Millions o' Monkeys Posted October 13, 2001 Posted October 13, 2001 even if no editors released with the game there will be one made or put into a patch later on
