ed_silvergun Posted December 24, 2001 Posted December 24, 2001 I enjoyed the first two films for what they were - comedies. The scripts were witty, and the gags were always good. However, the second one wasn't radically different to the first, and if they want the third installment to do well, they need to introduce some new ideas and put a new spin on it. You can't just make three films full of sex gags and tenuous story-lines and expect people to flock to see them again and again. The intoduction of mini-Austin could well put a new spin on things and breathe new life into the franchise, and while I'm not exactly waiting with baited breath, I will reserve judgement until I've seen the new film, rather than saying "I bet that'll suck", or "it'll just be more of the same".

I loved the first two movies, and i think that the third will be great as well. However, i think that mini-austin is just a little joke they did, not the real thing. Why would they make it exactly like the first intro if it was gonna be a whole movie like that? Its just a joke...i hope....

Not too long ago the movie sites talked about how some 16 year old was cast as the young Dr. Evil. This trailer was extremely adorable though.

This is the reason I can still watch Austin Powers for the 1000 time and still laugh my ass off The second one was even better Cant wait...
