SithMaster2003
What kind of router are you using? I am running a Linksys 4 port router, and i know there is a way to go around the firewall it has with one computer, so that that computer can play online games. so, if you know, pass on the info about your router. by the way, how are you connecting to the internet? cable/dsl or dial-up? or some other way? matt--
configuring the linksys to host games: go to 192.168.1.1 input your password. if your password is not set, it will be "admin" by default. go to "advanced" go to "DMZ Host" input the IP of the computer that will be hosting. "apply" and your set oh, almost forgot: What OS?
TheJackal
I have the SAME router. I have a network of 3 computers. But for some unknown reason only MY computer cannot access THAT IP adresse. My parents' and my brother do have access to it but mine cannot reach it. my brother installed it... could it be his doing?
matt--
Very possibly. Let me bring up my other comp, and I'll see if I can help you. Update: I don't see any straight out way to do that. Does it give you some kind of message? Or do you just not know the password? remember default password is admin. Leave username blank. If he is blocking your ip: switch the two cables. put the cable leading to your comp in his plug and vice versa. Then just release/renew your ip. If you still can't access it, then he changed the router's IP.
