FeldmanSkitzoid
I'm just wondering...has anyone seen Sam and/or Max in GB? They've been in nearly every single LucasArts game since Hit The Road, so I'd assume they're in this one too. If you don't know who they are, this is Sam and this is max . Also, has anyone found any other hidden characters in the game? I think it's widely known that in the first mission of the Chewbacca campaign, if you reveal the entire map (hit enter and type "forceexplore" and "forcesight") you can see Panaka, Obi-Wan, and the Queen's shiny ship toward the bottom of the map, and to the right side of the maps there's a scene of a Tatooine town being attacked by Tusken Raiders. A good place to find such scenes is in missions where you lead a team to accomplish goals, rather than the regular build-a-base-and-attack missions. PS: If you've never heard of Sam & Max or experienced their unique form of comedy, you've wasted your life.
Com Raven
LCE isn't allowed to put them in their games these days, due to legal reasons ...
FeldmanSkitzoid
well, another great thing ruined by lawyers.
Metallus
Actually, Sam and Max have been in LucasArts games long before they starred in their own. They were in both Monkey Island 1 and 2, which were released years before Hit the road.
Jake
There's a chance that they'll stop appearing in LucasArts games now that they've been licensed out to a couple other places (Fox Kids/Nelvana, Infinite Machine), but Max showed up (the back of his head, and his name) in Monkey Island 4 and barely in Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine as well (both post-Sam & Max TV series games) so anything's possible. When we talked to Sean Clark and Mike Stemmle (the guys who were project leads on Monkey 4 and Sam & Max Hit The Road) they made some joke about a Canadian animation company calling them up when they tried to include Sam & Max in their games (obviously talking about Nelvana, the studio who produced the cartoon). Maybe Nelvana actively blocked the more graphical in-jokes from appearing in the games while they were producing their cartoon, or maybe Stemmle and Clark were just going insane and making nonsensical jokes. Also any Sam & Max fans who have a strong will and thick skin should check out http://forums.samandmax.net , hosted here at LucasForums.
