About the NEW JEDI ORDER books

I am curious about this:

 

I have read in some articles that these books are being published in two formats (hardcover and paperback) but in a curious way: every year they publish a core book in hardcover, and then, during the year they publish various paperback novels that continue that history. And then I realised that STAR BY STAR is not in paperback, but all of the other books are in paperback (including the previously released in hardcover).

 

Someone knows if this is like the other SW books (bantam/spectra ones) where they always released first on hardcover (some books directly in paperback) and a year later in paperback?

I havent read Star Wars books in ages. Im on the Black Fleet Crisis Book 2........I've been reading it on and off for a year

LOL star by star not in paperback...lol if it WAS in paperback, it wouldn't be as 'strong' and the book would fall apart...I have the hardcover. I got it for christmas my dad said it was around $30!

I know it is not, I want to know if anyone knows (how confusing) if they are going to publish it in mass market paperback.

I don't like the NJO books. They strike me as a departure from the original Star Wars canon...something more like Star Trek. Blech.

I have almost every songle star wars book ever publishes by Bantam, some did come out in hard cover but most were initially released in paperback, Star by Star will come out in paper back soon I'm sure, I couldn't wait to buy it so I already have it, and of course Rogue 3 borrowed it from me for longer than I had it in my possesion
