chrisw_30 Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Hey.. Just tried to go to the official Galatic Battlegrounds site at: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/battlegrounds and it would not load up.... I also tried the offical Rogue Leader one as well and that too did not work.. Its probably just some server problem with Lucasarts.... Anyone else have this problem?
Paragon_Leon Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 No problem on my end... could be a proxy-server problem at your provider.. erm...this doesn't really 'discuss' the game, so i'm moving it to off-topic if you don't mind..
Wraith 8 Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Well i had some trouble to get on.... a couple of minutes ago... but i think it is my connection going mad.
Guest Tie Guy Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Yeah, it took a while for it to load for me as well. I think it is a Lucasarts server problem. They should have it fixed soon...i hope.
Guest dlayers Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 It's been REALLY slow over the last week, week and a half.
Guest Kudar Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Hardly suprising, i'm sure they are getting a huge volume of traffic regarding all their upcoming games.
Guest Sherack Nhar Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Any topics related to Galactic Battleground goes to the Galactic Discussion forum. FORCE MOVE TOPIC!!
Guest dlayers Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 Hardly suprising, i'm sure they are getting a huge volume of traffic regarding all their upcoming games. Actually, you'd expect a company like LucasArts to be able to handle the website traffic...especially since they are developing a game that will run on multiple servers (Star Wars Galaxies). Of course a webserver would probably not be as high on a priority list as a MMORPG server setup would be
Paragon_Leon Posted November 6, 2001 Posted November 6, 2001 The first to-and-fro-match of topic-swinging between mods.. Sherack, this discusses access-problems to a site... I believe that puts it squarely in the off-topic forum. Don't you think ?
