I dont doubt much from that because its hard to get that confused, unless Raven changes the storyline a little after that interview.
CaptainRAVE
Oh yea, I forgot that......for some reason I thought we went to Luke from the beginning.....but then that doesnt fit with the story.......oops

(I'm guessing you don't... ) You don't seriously want what will be the Game Of The Year 2K2 to be finishable in a day-and-a-half, do you??!!? /me is v. confused
CaptainRAVE
About 36 hours will be perfect. Any less and it'll be as short as Elite Force, but much longer and the game will get very repetative
GonkH8er
Longer than elite force You dont start with the saber.

CaptainRAVE
Actually they said at least 20 massive levels which is promissing and if they keep to their initial announcement plans that the levels will be twice the size of JK then it'll be a huge game
xwing guy
20 massive levels then, hmmm. I might finish it in about 4 days or more, then it's on to MP.
StarScrap
Originally posted by JZScorpion Well Moses, from what I get from what has been revealed of the plot line so far is that a new threat pops up out of nowhere ( --BOO! AHHHHH!-- ) What's wrong with that. That's pretty much the premise of every SW movie, and all the DF games. Ep. I: Trade Federation. Ep. IV: Death Star I Ep. V: err...well...ummm....the empire? The empire finds Hoth.... Ep. VI: Death Star II DF: Dark Troopers JK: Uber-Sith That's the other thing I don't understand. Somewhere (don't know what thread) someone complained about the fact that the empire searching for force sensitive people, and people being reborn was corny, and that they wanted it to have a nice "sensible" plot "like JK", but what about Jerec find this massive cache of force power? How cliche is that? Disclaimer: No offense yadda yadda....
CaptainRAVE
Well it doesnt have to fit exactly into the Star Wars universe.....does it??
JZScorpion
Hey, guys guess your'e right. I must have misread the GameSpy preview. They say to defeat the Dark Jedi Kyle must face his spotty past. I wouldn't be surprised if they did tie the plot in with Kyle's past somehow, though. (Other than his returning to his Jedi past of course )
Spider AL
Hmm, his Jedi past ain't that long, is it. Hehee, "I found a Lightsabre in a garage, and that makes me a Jedi!" Kyle was one of Luke's students in one of the novels though, I think.

Lord_FinnSon
Actually, Kenn said that there will be "over" 20 SP levels. I understand it so that there might be locations where you can spend some time(like Voyager in EF), but they will not be considered to be actual levels. In JK2's case one of these might be Jedi Academy; wouldn't it be cool to wander in those halls and talk with Jedis, even though only briefly(it all adds a lot more exploration to whole game). Perhaps it won't even be necessary to go through that whole Jedi training course, but only an opportunity offered by Luke for you to get used to Force powers before you start your actual mission. That would be excellent - being able to wander leisurely through the Academy would really immerse you in the SW universe. I thought the ability to just wander around Voyager in EF was a brilliant idea - I'm still considering getting the expansion pack for that very reason... anyone know if it's any good? dazilla
DO NOT GET THE EXPANSION PACK!!! After about two or three hours, it becomes the most boring thing ever. It's interesting to see each place once or twice, but to not be able to interact with anyone or anything is kind of annoying. Anyway, I remember hearing 20 levels as well, but I'm wondering if that only means that there's 20 times in the game that it needs to reload...u know, like in Elite Force. That would make it much shorter. Or, it could mean 20 complete different locales. This would be much better. I also would hope for more than 36 hours of play. I personally beat elite force in 20, on medium mode...i think...don't remember any more.
CaptainRAVE
Id get the JK2 expansion pack if it ever came out, however good or bad it was supposed to be.
