CaptainRAVE
I was shocked for a moment......a Star Wars game without John Williams music .......I just thought maybe thats why Force Commander didnt sell very well.
Wilhuf
No, the ForceCommander score is Williams. It was radically remixed by David Levison and Peter McConnell of LEC. If you listen closely you can plainly hear William's original orchestrations. Of course the back-beats were added in from scratch, along with other elements. But underneath it, it is Williams' score, many times barely recognizable. Try some sample mp3s at the FoCom Downloads page. Daily Radar had a good interview on the topic back in March 2000. I believe Daily Radar is no more, however. Anyway great that LEC appear to be using William's orchestral score, and are leveraging some of the less-used themes for Outcast. Half of the game atmosphere is set by the music and sound. Should be excellent atmosphere!
CaptainRAVE
I used to visit Daily Radar occasionally and didnt realise they have gone down. They used to be quite good for information.
