Booya2020
Now thats something id like to see in the game. Who cares about ground or sea trade? it would be more faithful to SW anyways. Also, id like to see smuggler ships:D . They could be very quick transports that allow you to drop off jedi and bounty hunters in your opponents base or something like that. Maybe steal resources? Compa_Mighty
Commerce would be great if they used: -Water commerce (ships) -Land commerce (trade carts which make convoys) -Air Commerce (air ships) You could get a great amount of ilum, and commerce (and anticommerce) would become an important element of the game. Guest Tie Guy
Commerce, ha, i laugh at that. I never really use commerce or the market very much in AOK, i never reallly saw any need to. Just mine your own gold, no need to sell food or wood or whatever to get it.
Mitth'raw'nuruodo
I think that it would be really cool if the things you had to trade actually went in the ships, and went over to the ally's base and dropped the stuff off. Just think then you could rob trade convoys. Blow up the freighter and the resouces would spilll out on the ground free for you trade ship's taking. Cool idea or what? blue_myriddn
Trade can be *very* important in competitive Age of Kings games so don't dismiss it totally. I like the idea of air trade though. Neat thought!

Cool idea or what? interesting thought, but could be impractical at the heat of battle. you have to worry about actually managing your economy as well as your military/base. i wouldn't even bother sending a unit to rendezvous with a ship to pick up bacta. it will probably work the way AoK does in marketing, possibly with air units.... Mitth'raw'nuruodo
No, no! You misunderstood me. It works like in AoK, the guys diliver it automatically, but if you blow up the transpot/trade cog (whatever) you get the resources that were in it! Paragon_Leon
well guys, it's my guess that your prayers will be answered... remember that first packed screenshot ? It showed what i thought was a trade-port with an air-supply line. it is natural yeah... Trade actually makes or breaks multiplayer games in AOK.. if you have about 20 carts running back and forth, you'll find that you'll never lack on gold. And gold is key.
