M@nd@lori@n
Will the game have a voting system like RTCW ,like kicking someone off who shoots team members, and voting to change maps...
Pogwaffle
Probably, most games do these days. Raven would be silly not to.
CaptainRAVE
I dont mind people who shoot team members...if their traitors then just gang up on them and slaughter them .........I suppose a voting system wouldnt be a bad idea though
Broode
I saw this in some Half-Life mod, but I think the best way to do it is to have a "forgive" system. If you get TK'ed, and you think that it was an honest mistake, you press your forgive key within a set time limit. If the time runs out, then the person should get a warning. 3 warnings and its a boot.
OnlyOneCanoli
Yeah, I like the way RTCW deals with TKers. You can forgive them or file the complaint. Either way, there will most likely be some kind of voting system in the game, which is a good thing, imo.
Wilhuf
Yes, in-game voting is supported by q3 tech. Gives the gamers what they want. It can also be overrided by administrators, if they don't want their map cycles changed.
Guest Krayt Tion
I agree, it has been a pleasure to use the RTCW voting system. The most efficient and fair means of booting people off a server I've ever seen ship with a game. None of the other Q3-tech games have come close, much less other games. Sith, it almost makes FF-off games completely playable. Hopefully RTCW will set the standard that even our beloved JO will go by and hopefully surpass. Vigilante justice can be rewarding in ways but ultimately it is not worth my gameplay time, much less the hit on my score, to kill Llamas of my team. Bleeet!
