phoenix215 Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 Im not sure if this has been discussed yet, but are there going to be any weather effects in Outcast? such as snow, rain, etc. these types of things really immerse you into the gameworld, just wondering if they were included in JK2

I can't think of any...it would be cool to have them in JKII, but what planet? Many planets don't seem like they would have much weather (Tatooine, Corousant, Nar Shaddaa, Bespin). Swoosh
SlowbieOne Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 They said there will be a snow effect on a level. Also there is supposed to be levels with X-Wings and TIE Fighters battling in the sky, as well as meteors falling to the surface.

Just imagine ties crashing into buildings above and raining debris down around you. Or a vicious thunderstorm that reduces your visibility to zero and you don't see that stormtrooper until your right in his face. Cool Hehe

Brick Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 The XGR interview with Brett Tosti had something on that. During the interview Brett said that the only weather effect would be some kind of meteor storm, if I remember right.
