Zygomaticus Posted November 11, 2001 Author Posted November 11, 2001 yeah i certainly agree with u very good point:) he's so respectable and nice in ep 1 and then he starts to disrespect and dare his seniors i think he may have turned out differently if qui gon had trained him cuz he really liked and respected qui gon and qui gon felt the same abt him i dont think obi wan liked anakin very much he was jeleous of padme liking anakin( i think) see his face when anakin is promising padme to find out something in the mystery trailer

Eets Posted November 12, 2001 Posted November 12, 2001 Obi-Wan was not jealous of Padme and Anakin. A jedi cannot know love. That is the reason why he was shocked at what anakin said. They were probably discussing who could have tried to attack Padme, and Anakin just blurted that out to show off. Obi-Wan didn't like Anakin, however. He was jealous of the attention his master showed Anakin. And I do agree that one of the reasons besides his mother being killed was that Obi-Wan was tough on anakin turned him to the dark side too.

Anakin shows up just before she dies and he sits with her all night then barries her then notices that there's a family of tuskens playing a little ways away from him.
