Okay, I'm bored so here I am posting something. I remember sitting in class one day and thinking about Star Wars and then Matrix and I made up battles. So I wanna see everyones opinion.

The Force vs. The Matrix- I have to say the Froce is stronger 'cause it's everywhere not just in a computer program.

Trinity vs. Amidala/Leia- I have to say Trinity would win. She can stop in mid-air!

Agent Smith vs. Darth Vader- I dunno...probably Vader

Agent Smith vs. Darth Maul- Maul, just 'cause.

Neo vs. Luke- Umm...uhh...I wanna say Luke but then Neo can...well he can do niffty stuff. Help.

Yoda vs. Oracle- Yoda. 'Nuff said

Neo vs. Young Obi-Wan- Ack! Why do I do this to myself. I'd have to say...probably Obi-Wan

Guns vs. Blasters- BLASTERS! ....at least I didn't ask guns vs. lightsabers....

Okay, that's all I have. Anyone else got any other ideas?

Wow...I remember that! :D WAAAAYY old

The Force vs. The Matrix- The Force, because it can't be stopped by a computer program.

Trinity vs. Amidala- Trinity

Trinity vs. Leia - Maybe Trinity. Maybe Leia, especially EU Leia

Agent Smith vs. Darth Vader- The power to destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of the Force...and Agent Smith can't even do that ;)

Agent Smith vs. Darth Maul- Close one. Maul was only an apprentice...but he would still have the Force. Maul.

Neo vs. Luke at about RotJ - Neo.

Neo vs. Luke in the EU...closer. Prolly Luke tho, just cuz. :D

Yoda vs. Oracle- Yoda.

Neo vs. Young Obi-Wan- Obi-Wan is still an apprentice...but he has the Force...x_x I'm not gonna make myself decide, lol

Guns vs. Blasters- Oh please. Blasters!!!

Of course it would. Star Wars was meant to be a reality, Matrix wasn't, it was all in their heads...they can dodge bullets as much as they want in their dreams, but once they wake up a light saber's getting shoved up their you know whats...

You all fail to realize that if Star Wars was to fight the matrix, Matrix would win, because the matrix is everything, which means that the force is a component of the matrix, and it could be manipulated. In a world where star-wars and matrix exist together, the only possible explanation is that star-wars exist within the parameter of the matrix. Thusly, Star Wars cannot win, because no one inside of it is aware of the matrix.

Then why compare? You are saying that the SW characters are fighting the weak, atrophied, human batteries of the real-world earth. What competition is there? Its more competetive to say that the robots (not aliens, there, smart chic) have succesfuly taken over the SW world as well. After all, we don;t know what time it is during the matrix.

*I* was never comparing. That's why *I* said that SW would win. Scroll up and read this thread again.

And sooooorry. It's been like a freakin' year since I've seen the Matrix and I don't really have that great of a memory. You don't have to be a jerk about it.

I was going on the assumption that the Force would be able to affect the matrix if a Force-sensitive person was inside it. Besides, if you'd read past the thread title, you'd realize that we were comparing things from inside the Matrix to things in the Star Wars universe in purely hypothetical situations. And if SW and the Matrix existed in the same universe, the Matrix would be on Earth, while Star Wars is a whole galaxy.

You didn't even *read* what we were saying....and we didn't say that. We were saying the Matrix versions of the characters listed were fighting the characters/elements listed from Star Wars. And the entire story of Star Wars takes place "a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", and we know that the events of the Matrix takes place sometime after the year 1999.

btw Cracken, what are you talking about?
