Hmmm... I honestly don't know where to start...

However, IMHO, this game has all the potential to dethrone Half-Life as the best FPS ever.

*Incredible Saber combat

*13+ weapons (primary and secondary fire)

* Around 15 force powers (some MP and some SP) with three different levels for each one

*Excellent graphics

*Fluid animations

*At least 24 huge single player levels

*7 multiplayer modes and at least 10 maps

*Incredible enemy A.I.

*SOF2 GHOUL technology.

*Many different enemies (AT-STs, many Dark Jedi, bounty hunters)

*Rumored to include vehicles but not confirmed

The closest feeling you'll ever get to being a Jedi. I see no reason for this game to fail. Get it! :D

have you played jedi knight? probably not or you wouldn't be asking :D

i don't know what kind of person wouldn't like this game. people might not buy it cause its starwars, but almost 100% of the people i know that don't like starwars haven't seen it.

i'm not saying the game will be good because its starwars, but just because it will have amazing plot/gameplay

Actually, I can confirm that vehicles are in the game. Atleast at one point you will get to drive *something*.

However, apart from this one time there are tons of turrets and stuff that u can control.

How do I know this?

*The force is strong in this one*

We can only hope that we will be able to drive vehicles in the game and use the turrets as well. Maybe we will even be able to fly an X-WING hehe.

Personally, I'm rather curious about the story. I've never heard of Kyle Katarn till I bought JediKnight. I like his character, even though the FMVs from the first game weren't exactly the finest in acting.

Still though, I've always found the Star Wars universe to have some of the greatest stories ever, and not every single one of them being some huge epic war or something like that.

I think it'd especially be great to find out all about this story while actually being in it.

Kyle Katarn originally appeared in the game Dark Forces as an ex-Imperial mercenary working for the Republic. His story was then continued in Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, and the Companion Missions, Mysteries Of The Sith.

There are also 3 illustrated novellas concerning his exploits, called Soldier For The Empire, Rebel Agent and Jedi Knight, which flesh out the details of Kyle's past, his father's demise, and tie-in to his exploits during the game Jedi Knight.

:)

BTW, welcome to the forums, yodasoda, Neko Lain, RiseForth, 7-7ighlander, and Scrobes. I hope you're enjoying your stay. Here...*hands each a chocolate Jedi Medallion* ;)

I posted this in another thread, but I think it is worth repeating:

The top 10 reasons to buy JKII, with a little help from Master Yoda.

10- A Jedi's strength flows from JKII

9- Once you start down the dark RPG path, forever will it dominate your destiny; consume you it will..."

8- Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate...leads to RPG's

7- Dungeon Siege, MorroWind, a Jedi craves not these things.

6- You will know the good (JKO)from the bad(RPG) when you are calm; at peace; passive

5- The RPG's cloud everything.

4- Luminous beings are we, not this crude RPG!

3- A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense and JKII, never for RPG's.

2- RPG's do not make one great.

And the number ONE reason to buy Jedi Knight II,

Come the 29th, Begun this sabre dueling has...
