if we're talking punk id say I'll Never Spend Another Night Alone by the Ataris

 

if were talking metal then its Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leoppard

 

if we're talking old rock then its Johnny B Good by Chuck Berry

 

and if its good ol grunge then its Smells Like Teen Spirit

Yeah, for grunge I'd say Smells Like Teen Spirit, although in my opinion it's more meta' than grunge. I'd say Jeremy by Pearl Jam, too.
