There's a really annoying scripting bug that caused me to restart a few times on the 2nd lvl after you free the prisoners and go blow up the ion cannons.

If you shoot the atst's first you can't win. You *have* to shoot them 2nd or you just sit their with nothin to do after you blow up the ion cannons.

Of course the first thing I did was shoot the lil buggers cause they were hittin me with rockets. I died a few times tryin to blow up the ion cannons first so I could progress to the next lvl.

MAJOR BUG!

After finishing the Bespin level (first boss Jedi duel), I get stats and the next level loads... and then it dumps me to desktop EVERY time.

Completely reproduceable - its done it three for three now.

Settings are high (except for 16 bit textures and colour depth).

System is P3-850, SB Live, Voodoo V5500, 512 megs RAM.

When restarting the game I get this error. If I reboot and then run it will work correctly:

UPDATE: I finally got it to load by dropping the screensize down to 800x600, fighting the boss again, getting onto the next level and then saving, resetting back to 1024x768.

Looks like there are real problems with JK handling V5500 and textures (see my posts on the "slow loading times" thread). Probably something to do with the fact that the V5500 is really 2x32meg rather than 1x64meg card.

Its a real pity, because the game looks and plays great in 1024x768x32 with 2xFSAA, but the loading/texture management problems really ruin the game or make you run in a low res.

So far the game runs great on my system EXCEPT for one major detail. When exiting the multiplayer game back to my desktop in WindowsXP I get the infamous blue screen of death! states IRQL must be equal to or greater than 1, then locks up completely or reboots my system. I have Dual boot OS's and in Windows ME everything is A-OK. For WINXP I have tried re-installing, system restore before I originally installed JK2 to get rid of any possible bad reg entries, tried different detonator drivers. Nothing seems to work. Single player doesn't cause this problem. Any ideas?

Intel P4 1.5 GHz on ABit TH7-RAID

512mb RDRAM

MSI Geforce3 Ti500 on nVIDIA DetonatorXP 23.83

2x40Gb HDD

SBLive! X-GAMER (pre 5.1 version)

I can also submit the registers that come up during the crash, upon request. I'm open to any suggestions you can give me.

anyone had this little nuisance of a bug

a stormtrooper or the like runs up to you and starts to blast, you take no damage, you shoot back (with the troopers rifle :p )and nothing happens to him either.

i get that alot.. wel used to so now i'm a saber freak :p

That patch isn't at the logitech site.

Nope.

My Specs:

Athlon 1.3 Mhz

Asus nForce Mobo

512 PC2100 DDR Ram

GeForce2 Ti450 64 DDR

I am playing at 1600x1200 with everything maxed.

I get dumped every time. I've tried it 5 or 6 times and get the error on the level load each and every time. Everything else (SP and MP) runs fine and dandy.

EXACTLY! I'd run up to a stormtrooper or an imperial officer, ram my blaster right in their face, and then NO damage when I start shooting. Little sparks fly and my ammo runs down and that's it. This happens with the bowcaster at long range too. I'd shoot a guy in the head from across the room and they just go "ugh, ugh"; that's it. Raven needs to fix their collision detection problems or something. Very Annoying.

Ok, try to lower your resolution down, as well as your details, by one notch and see if that helps.
