Guest Lord Tirion
There seems to be a bug or a glitch when AT-ATs attack on an angle of going diangly up to the right in like a 60 to 70 degree angle. I do not know if it is just AT-ATs but I assume it is for other units as well, but when they attack in that angle, they seem to keep missing the unit they are firing upon. I watched a STAP obliterate an AT-AT because the AT-AT could not register one hit while the STAP was scoring hit after hit. First I thought this was a fluke, but this happened in 3 more games that same night and I talked to some of the people on the zone and they said they noticed it as well. I just thought I would bring this to your attention and see what you thought of this.
Paragon_Leon
Better post this in the Development Forum as well, since that's where designers will look for bug-reports first, probably..

Guest Wanderer_Man
Wow this would stink if it was consistent since I like the Empire. I tested this a bit in the scenario editor for fun, using both units and all sorts of angles (placed multiple AA turrets to shoot at at every conceivable angle) and I never saw this. Occasionally it would miss, but would always hit. Â You had a strike mech kill a full health AT-AT? Got any screen shots of the offending angle? Guest Lord Tirion
It was on even ground. I did not take any screenshots though. The two green lasers kept landing just beyond the STAP not registering a single hit. I am thinking it has to be to an exact degree for it to work. Sometimes they do fine, but that night and then again early this morning it happened again. I had to reposition my AT-AT before it finally started registering hits. Guest jediaoe
i agree with jordus, even if you were on even ground the STAP might have been on lower ground or somethin.
Jordus1587246506
im not second guessing you tirion.....this could very well be a nasty bug.....but its needed that we all take every approach and solution to this prob before we all go lolly gaggin to LA complaining.....we owe it to them and to ourselves to be more observent, to "use the force" if you will....now im off to watch EP1 to brush up on my TF strategies......
