Eets
Is there a way to set up a scenario so that a predatory animal is under your control? What I mean is, I'm trying to make my scenario so that jawas can be controlled by players... is there any way to do this?
darthfergie
Um...er...maybe you can set up a trigger so that when you see them they convert to your side!!!! I amaze myself with my scenario knowledge...
Eets
I've tried all sorts of stuff with the triggers.. nuttin yet.
darthfergie
What??? No way... Have you tried...when they your units come into sight of something it creates a bunch of them right there??? I would try it but I'm not near a copy of GB because I'm at my grand parents' house...
Eets
I can have em create as many as I want, but they cant be on player 1's team... I've tried the rescuing thing.. it doesnt work.
darthfergie
WHAT!!! WHY CAN'T THEY BE ON PLAYER 1's TEAM!!! IF ONLY I HAD GB RIGHT NOW THEN I COULD TRY MY SKILLS AT IT AND SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!! ...grumble....mumble...
Eets
the sand people and jawas - They're predatory animals just like any other sabretooth cat or kaadu... it sucks, you can capture a sandcrawler, but you cant capture jawas... darthfergie
yeah i saw that you could use the sandcrawler...ARRRG I want to get on there and try it... BTW, why are they predetory animals...you don't eat them...
Eets
Well, they attack back, like kaadus... you know how sandcrawlers take potshots at podracers? that's what they do in GBG... therefore theyre predatory animals.
darthfergie
Sandcrawlers take potshots at podracers??? Still I think that every gaia unit (that is unique to gaia and is not a building or anything like that) needs to be eatible...
Guest Tie Guy
You can place and control the Sandcrawler like any otehr unit. However, the animals are different. I can get them to change ownership, but they still don't do what you tell them too, and it says that they have no attack/defense/range, even though they attacked my sandcrawlers and did quite some damage. BTW, i made a huge Jawa Sandcrawler battle with 100 v. 100 sandcrawlers in the editor. And i won!!!
darthfergie
sandcrawlers have attack power??? *lol* Like I said I've been too busy to mess around with the editor...been playing the campaigns a bit much...but expect my first campaign sometime soon... Eets
yeah, they shoot a little blue laser but they cant hold units! that boggles my mind... And I find favoritism in the fact that you can control EWOKS but you cant control Jawas... Everyone loves the little huggy bears, but no one loves the smelly scavengers.... Guest DaRk_EwoK
You can control ewoks?? That sounds great!! btw what are the ewoks stats? :ewok:
Darth_Rommel
Something to the effect of this: 9 attack 30 health 0 range That's all I can remember off-hand anyways.
Guest DaRk_EwoK
You mean they only do melee attack? They should be able to throw stones... -------
Darth_Rommel
Yeah, they have little spears. Other ewok units include: catapult, gliders, and ewok huts!

darthfergie
Also they have Ewok Heros such as Wicket and a chief of theirs... and of course...SIMON THE KILLER EWOK!!! THE MOST POWERFUL UNIT ON THE GAME!!! Also the ewok units are decently fast...I think they may move about as fast as the more advanced trooper on the Game... Eets
I know! They have tons of Ewok units, but do you see any Jawa heros like Eets'chula or Utinni?! Noooooooooooooooo! Biased pigs *nudges garry gaber... hey! let us have some decent jawas!*
Paragon_Leon
Jawa's are nice enough, but if you play on a Tatooine map, scout asap. Any sandcrawler you find can be sent to the other player's base to hunt down workers. hehe.. evil.. btw: it's no wonder you can't store units in a crawler. Too little legroom !
