Taunts

I think I may have missed the boat on this one, but can you taunt someone or simply make a comment from your player in MP?

 

I've heard rodians laugh b4 and wondered whether that was the guy controlling him??

Yes you can taunt, however the dev's didn't put that in the controls setup, so you have to do it manually.

 

Instructions:

 

Press Shift + Tilde (~), when the console is up, type in the console:

 

/bind "key" "+taunt"

 

now press the key to taunt.

but can you bind the others, Like DeathInsult, KillInsult, and the others.. if someone could let me know.

Bowing? There is no command for that, you just look down with your mouse.

 

I would also like to know if there are other taunts that can be binded. When I looked in the pk3 files of the skins there were usually more than one taunt per skin and loads of other sound clips.

there's some proper cool taunts, altho Luke's is pathetic. He always seems to get the rough end of the stick, poor chap:p

i was dueling a "luke" today. i cant remember what it was exactly, i was too far away to hear all of it. it was something along the lines of "let go of your hate, i know there is good in you somewhere" or something hehe i sabered him good!

All the voices are taken from the single player game. Too cheap/lazy to make MP specific taunts.

what would happen if I replaced the jedi taunt with the reborn in the pk3 ? and which would I nedd to change, the assets0.pk3 or assets1.pks ?

Lando's taunt is one of the funniest in the game. For those who don't know, Lando's taunt is "WOOHOO!" It is so much fun to run around yelling like a loon and shooting your gun off. Some of the time I can woohoo as I'm dying. this is really demoralizing to the guy who killed me.

I'll have to agree with greedo, Lando's taunt is great! It can be the most annoying thing to do in repetition too, so you may have lots of people telling you to shutup. It's a great thing to get your opponent really steamed.
