Pedantic Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Rap, baby, rap. Oh, yeah, I'm rollin' on dubs, homie.
Stargazer Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Classical, some rock and heavy metal, mostly because of the fetish i had for those when i was younger.
Hikeeba Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Hard rock, metal, oldies, blues, classical, and opera.
Chaotic~Angel Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Metal I guess, well basically anything but my favorite band is Godsmack (no spamming, its an opinion not a challenge!!!)
Wicket the Ewok Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Mainly leftfield electronic stuff from the likes of Boards of Canada, Plaid, Leila et al. And then random other bands from other genres (indie, house, drum'n'bass, rock, hip hop, etc).
TiE23 Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Rock, Pop-rock, Pop, and sometimes rap. I love listening to the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 songs, they are so cool. My favorite is "The boy who destroyed the world"I'm not sure who the guy(s) who/that sang it.
CupO'Coffee Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 mostly chill-out music like massive attack or some other bands that haven't made enough good music to stay in my mind. this includes, to a certain degree, also blues and classic music since massive attack is more trip-hop (i think trip-hop was the name) but now and then i also listen to oldies (i'm a nostalgic you know)
Divine Spirit Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 about 90% of all indie rock <- thats my most favourite type of music ever! then theres progressive rock, like radiohead <- thats my most favourite band ever! i also like chill-out, trip hop stuff like massive attack and portishead, electronic sounds type of music (sorry for the awful name) like Air, daft punk. and i also like jimi hendrix <- he rocks! Indie > * *> Pop therefore this statement MUST be correct: Indie > Pop Divine Spirit
Jedi_Monk Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 I don't really know how to classify them, but my favorite groups are VAST and Linkin Park... they're both really good to listen to while you're in a funk... My parents also got me to like some folk music, John Gorka and Mustard's Retreat. Also, I like some new age-y stuff with that Celtic feel, Enya and Loreena McKennitt. Metal I guess, well basically anything but my favorite band is Godsmack (no spamming, its an opinion not a challenge!!!) I used to be in an SW fan club with Scully, the lead singer from Godsmack, back when they were just a lowly bar band in the Boston area.

shidobu Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 I pretty much define good music on a song to song basis. Most rock is pretty good. VERY FEW good rap and country.
Darth Seph Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 Gothic , Death heavy metal. Rammstein , Cradle of Filth , Metallica for example.
Ice (Sic)kle Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 HEAVY METAL!!!! Slipknot, System Of A Down, American Head Charge, Metallica and all the other good metal bands.

NerfYoda Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 Streetpunk, 1st and 2nd wave Ska, Doo-wop, & Earlier rebel-country music (Johnny cash, Waylon Jennings, etc).
[SWS]Strider Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 I'm mainly a fan of lesser known bands. Most of the ones I list you probably never heard of. Project 86, Stavesacre, Evanesence and Spoken are all really good. I also like Linkin Park, Hoobastank has some good songs also. I don't prefer a style, just whatever sounds good. :-)
access_flux Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 Project 86, Stavesacre, bloody wicked bands. PUNK ROCK FOREVER! i love drum n' Bass as well.
