I think it would be interesting if it were optional as far as ranks. For isntance (the obvious) jedis. like starting out at fs (force sensative) then going to padawan or whatever and so on or maby choosing something to do with the military or the different occupations such as going from hairdresser to super-hairdresser to super-mega-ultra-phenominal-biscuit-wookiee-freakish-lap dancing-baby seal-hairdresser or something like that.
