But perhaps that person enjoys the "creating" more than the actual wearing of the costume. Maybe she needs the fund sfor a new project? There's just some people who enjoy making, creating such things and once finished part with them to start a new project and not be stuck with all the doen or old items. Macbeth2k1
Well, i've been trying to print out some of my fan arts and they look absolutly horrible. The colors are tottaly different on paper than they are on screen. Aayla's skin becomes a dark blue, and all the shading and highlights get washed out. I've got a fairly new HP deskjet 1120C printer, but it just looks like junk. Scratch that idea I guess. I saw the new 14X11, and it appears to be a different run of them than the orriginal offer. The one I have is numbered 58/500 in the bottom right corner. But she didn't sign the name "Aayla Secura" on mine either. But hey, if I collected every possible varriation of every image... The only Aayla item I'd part with is my lightsaber, and then only if Amy will pose for a picture with it, and then give it right back! Well, its about time I start packing up everything I'm taking with me for autographs. I've got a nice steel 'doctors' clipboard I can put all my comics inside so as to make it impossible to bend them up while carrying them around the show. leXX
Check out this extremely cool fanart posted at the TheForce.net. I just love the pose and look on her face. It definately has a Tartakovsky look to it, and could quite easily belong in the Clone Wars cartoons. Unfortunately, I don't think Aayla will be appearing in the cartoons. She isn't listed on the official site, and I havn't seen any art for her. =( Also, there is a great Aayla skin for Jedi Academy. It is for both SP and MP. I've tried and tested it and I think it's pretty accurate apart from the blue lips. Download it here.
AgentSmith
Random, sorry to hear your fan artworks aren't printing out very well. (Perhaps you should use another software to print them out? The paper can be important too, I tend to use 160g paper since it absorbs the ink better.) leXX, great catch on that JA Aayla skin, wow it looks terrific! I think I'll just have to install it and play some MP or SP with that cool Aayla skin. Been rather busy though, working on something all Aayla fans will hopefully enjoy and like when completed... Most interesting off course is in the "Jedi" category you can select Aayla Secura. AgentSmith
Rebelscum.com reports that several of the 2003 Hasbro 3 3/4" Jedi Knight character figures from "Epsiode II - Attack Of The Clones" are undergoing a packaging upgrade in 2004, one of these is figures is the Aayla Secura figure. The card graphics and names have been altered, the figure itself however remains the same. The repackaged figures may appear in stores as soon as in several weeks but most likely they won't be out in full force until early next year. You can read the entire rebelscum.com article on the repackaged figures here. Or check the news link to this rebeslcum.com article on the Aayla Secura fansite. AgentSmith
This coming weekend, on Saturday November 29 and Sunday November 30, the 24th edition of the Mid-Ohio-Con, a Comic Book and Pop Culture event, is being held in Columbus, Ohio (USA). Amy Allen (who portrayed Aayla Secura in Episode II) will be signing autographs all weekend long at the convention (courtesy of OSWCC). Star Wars comics artist Jan Duursema, who co-created Aayla Secura, will also be present during the entire convention weekend at the WFC booth. This edition of the Mid-Ohio Con is a unique chance to meet the two ladies who brought Aayla Secura to life -in the comics and on the movie screen- and even take home an autograph to commemorate the occasion! AgentSmith
Originally posted by leXX Any word on whether she will be in Ep3 or not at the Con? Unfortunately no official word, no... However judging from reactions and rumors I suspect Aayla will not be in Episode III. (Though I'd love for Aayla to return in Epsiode III -played by Amy Allen off course- I'd rather not have her character appear and die onscreen.) There are good indications though that Aayla may appear in season 2 of the Clone Wars Cartoon.
