SamNMax
I don't know who plays Count Dooku, but have you ever notest he looks a lot like Sean Conery?
Cow_JK:O
Its dooku ! Christopher Lee, he is 80 and a well known horror-flick actor.
Vestril
On the other hand, Sean Connery as Count Dooku would be...hillariously wonderful....there would be many more Dooku/Padme scenes...
Jaster21801
Hrm... Was Christopher Lee the guy who played Saurin (I think that was his name) in the Lord of the Rings flick released this past X-mas? Grrr... lousy memory...
StealthFox
Sauron!!! not Saurin!!! and yes, they are palyed by the same man, except lotr had him with a fake nose.
Norin Radd
Sorry, but you are both wrong. Christopher Lee did not play Sauron, he played Sarumon, The White. http://www.theonering.net/movie/scrapbook/large/
Norin Radd
It actually would have been interesting to see Sean Connery play Dooku. However, I doubt would have been willing to pay Connery's price.
AgentSmith
Sean Connery as Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus would have been great and hilarious I think. I can just see Connery going 'Mashter Obi-Wan, you disshapoint me.' with his accent full out. Ewan McGregor could go like 'Ay ya filthy Sith buggah, I aim doin the besth I caan heh!' Honestly I feel Christopher Lee was the right person for that dark, brooding Sith feel to the character of Dooku.
Rogue Nine
I would laugh my ass off if Connery played Dooku. The fight between him and Obi-Wan would be hilarious, as AgentSmith pointed out. Lucas should hire him just to make an outtake reel. I still love Christopher Lee as Dooku and Saruman though.
xX-Ender-Xx
WOW, i neve knew Christopher Lee was 80 years old. That's crazy, how can he keep up in the lightsaber fight? (in real life i mean, not in the movie)

(in real life i mean, not in the movie) The man is very fit. I think it's awesome, he only looks like he's in his 60's, plus he seems to be a big man. ValorXII
Actually I heard that for most of the fight, Lee's head was digitally pasted onto the stuntman's body. Quite plausible.
AgentSmith
I rea dan interview with Christopher Lee about working on Episode II and it's true the man keeps very fit, especially considering his age. But he also revealed that for the tough action scenes it was a mix of him, a stunt double and added digital effects. (Btw, Jango Fett was played by Temuera Morrison, this interview of him and Jeremy Bulloch on TheForce.net is a must see, hilarious! http://theforce.net/jedicouncil/interview/jango-boba.shtml )
MotionMan
Christopher Lee is an awsome. He is old though. Look at his hand closely when he shoots Anakin,Obi-Wan, and Joda with lightning. His hand looks real old.
Bluezman
Sorry, but you are both wrong. Christopher Lee did not play Sauron, he played Sarumon, The White. LOL, sorry, but you are also wrong. It is Saruman, not Sarumon. :D Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I know it was just a typo. It was just too cool ...
BlackDove
Lol you beat me to it, even though I hated the movie I still remembered that it was Saruman.....
Rogue Nine
He's still spry for his age. And he needs to survive long enough to make the next installment.

Good call...that would such rather harshly...I guess they could have him get horribly disfigured between the movies and give him a mask, maybe even Vader style... Rogue Nine
Nah, he'll be around. He can't die. He's too important.
DarthVenom
Talking of Sean Connery aka James Bond, I believe Christopher Lee played Scaramanga in 'the man with the golden gun' ..... sorry totally irrelevant, but couldn't resist! He's a great actor, im sure hes going to be around for years to come! If something did happen though they might try something like they did for oliver reed in gladiator - which, personally i found pretty tasteless, but understood why they did it... i guess its what he would've wanted anyway...
