CagedCrado
Also bungalow, what you see as dooku taking swipes at yoda is dooku trying to block all of yoda attacks, you know the force tells him to block, those arent swipes, just failed parries. Also if dooku would have moved yoda wouldve sliced of his head or arms or in the body.
-[MotU]-Lyger|=-
hmmmm ive narowed it down to 3 choices. 1. Obi-Wan 2. Yun 3. Me i'm thinkin Obi Wan was/is the best jedi, i mean come on the ladies want him(trust me there are sites about chicks drooling over Ewan McGreggor)he beat darth maul, and kicked the sh!t out of anakin so bad he had to replace his damn body for a robot. He's got a blue lightsaber(OG style)and he kicks ass with it. + he has those fast reflexes and crap he does flips spins, he has deciplin. he's just straight up the best Jedi, hell he trained luke with the force witch brought around the defeat of the Emperior
CagedCrado
No obi-wan is NOT the best jedi, yoda could kick his ass, and if yoda was real, your ass any day. Yoda couldve taken down the emperor and vader but he had to keep the jedi order alive, and he knew that he could either train another jedi and continue the order through him, or he could kill the emperor and vader. Yoda knew he could only do one or the other before he died. He chose wisely wouldnt you say? Obi-wan might be the second most powerful jedi after yoda in fighting ability (light jedi), but i still think mace windu should take that spot. As far as all jedi go, id have to rule out exar kun, he never came back to life like palpatine. It just wasnt him. Palpatine is far more powerful then all or most of the other sith/dark jedi, as yoda is far more powerful then all jedi. I think i stated that wrong though, has more ability then all other jedi, etc.
-[MotU]-Lyger|=-
your right, obi wan is not the best. MasterD-LeyAmas
Back on subject, and back to the post by Territo awhile back... Territo, you have got most of them in place. -Qui-Gon was wise, yet not a fighter. -Darth Maul was extremely well trained in dueling -Obi-Wan was a very well-balanced Jedi Knight, and he does manage, somehow, to beat Anakin in Ep3 -Mace Windu, one of the best Jedi Masters on the Council -Dooku could possibly take Windu (that's up for debate, seeing as we have not seen enough of Windu's abilities) -Yoda is by far the most experienced Jedi, and has one of the highest connections to the force; however, between him and Sidious, it is really hard to say. They are almost at opposite ends of the force scale, and the ways of the lightside are not to be underestimated, either. What you are forgetting, though, is the power that runs through the Skywalker bloodline. Anakin was conceived by the will of medicholrians, and as stated in Ep1, has a higher count of them in his blood than Yoda (which directly correlates to the strength of connection to the force). You also can not say that Luke is stronger than his father because he laid a beat-down on him. When Anakin suffers the trauma that puts him in his life-support suit at the hands of Obi-Wan in the next movie, his near death cuts his medichlorian count nearly in half, severly weakening his connection to the force. If he was powerful in the OT as Darth Vader, think about Vader X 2. And, genetically speaking, Luke cannot have a higher medichlorian count than his father, as Padme is not particularly force-sensitive, and has only an average medichlorian count. This would make Lukes medichlorian count genetically more diluted than Anakin, who was pure. As far as Palpatine vs. Luke OR Vader, he feared them. He knew that they were the only ones (yes both of them) that could possibly destroy him. Anakin, by the time he becomes Vader, is completely under the control of Sidious. As he says, "I must obey my Master.", and he really means it. This is also why the Emperor tries to turn Luke, so that he will have a young-blooded Skywalker under his control, not the aging Anakin. The Emperor also says in the OT that if Luke cannot be turned, he will be destroyed. That is, again, because Sidious knows that Luke can defeat him. I'm going to have to say that your list should be re-arranged to look like this: 9)Qui-Gon 8)Darth Maul 7)Obi-Wan 6)Mace Windu 5)Darth Tyranus 4)Darth Sidious 3)Luke Skywalker 2)Yoda 1)Anakin (at his height, before he is crippled and turned into Vader) Any counter-points are welcome. Territo
Thinking about it now I guess Anakin was stronger before hand since he became more machine then man but I don't know about putting him above Sidious. Sidous has just been around for too long and no one could reveal his identity. If I see Anakin using lightning in Episode 3 I'll change my mind. If Anakin didn't turn to the dark side and fall into the pit fighting Obi-Wan he would have been the strongest of all after a number of years. Yoda is probably above Anakin too because he has been training and using the force for a much longer amount of time. More will be cleared in Episode 3. Here is my new order. 1.)Sidious 2.)Yoda 3.)Anakin 4.)Dooku 5.)Windu 6.)Luke 7.)Obi-Wan 8.)Vader 9.)Darth Maul 10.)Qui-Gon
MasterD-LeyAmas
You are right about Sidious not being tested, but here's what my sources say (I've just now double checked them): 1)Anakin Skywalker = 27,700 Darth Vader (after his fight with Obi-Wan) = 13,000 2)Yoda = 17,700 3)Darth Sidious/Palpatine (with Kyber Crystal)(?) = 20,000 Darth Sidious/Palpatine (without Kyber crystal)(?) = 10,700 4)Count Dooku/Tyranus = 13,500 5)Obi-Wan Kenobi = 13,400 6)Luke Skywalker = 12,500 7)Mace Windu = 12,000 8)Darth Maul = 12,000 9)Qui-Gon Jinn = 10,000 Need To be Considered for Training as a Jedi = 7,000 (reference point) So, we were wrong about Mace Windu and Luke was not as strong with the force as I thought. And, sorry Zindell, I just had to release some numbers to back my argument.

Bungalow
Wow! Anakin Skywalker's father must have had a crazy high midochlorian count considering the fact that Shmi only had 3,300. Me thinks its Yoda:yoda:
