episode 3 plot summary

I don't believe a word of it... At Star Wars Celebration II, Ian McDarmid said that he's been pitching a Sith Witch since the beginning of the SW1 pre-production. He said he was desperately trying to convince Lucas to have a Sith Witch in SW2, since he knew that this would be the last chance to have a Sith Witch since this character was going to give way to Vader who, of course, is the be all, end all. Well, he got "a completely different character played by Christopher Lee". All evidence points to no Sith Witch.

Also, according to this treatment, Anakin falls into the pit (that part's hilarious! "Anakin, we can't fight here because there're vats of molten metal all around us!" LOL!) happens, maybe, thirty minutes into the movie. Vader's only going to be in the movie for ten minutes, according to reports from Lucas and James Earl Jones.

Also, Lucas has said again and again that Maul will not return, not even as a clone. It was a cool character, but he's not coming back. We don't know much about Episode III, but this treatment contradicts everything we do know. It has to be completely fictitious.

Nice story in some ways but I don't think that will be it.

There's no way hundreds of Jedi will become Dark Jedi and hunt their former Jedi comrades.

And there's just to many Sith Lords in that story. Darth Bane being so powerful he lived for a thousand years and manipulated all those Sith including Sidious? Then the discovery Sidious knew all this and is even more powerful? That seems to be a little bit far-fetched. It would really hurt the credibility of the entire story imho.

Plus we know from the original trilogy that the droid army must be defeated and the Republic (becoming the Empire) Army wins since the Empire has Stormtroopers/Star Destroyers which are their modern version of Clone Troopers/Republic Cruiser and not of the Battledroids/Confederacy ships.

I've seen the art drawings of the Sith Witch of female Sith they were developping for Episode II (In 'The Art of Star Wars Episode II' book.), only at the last minute did they change it when Christopher Lee was hired to play the Sith.

They were pretty cool though. :)

It's so fake, cmon. It even has an episode 7 by George Lucas and in realilty he's not doing anymore Star Wars. Besides, the guy more powerful than Sidious idea is dumb and the whole love affair thing sounds too soap operaish.

Based on Episode 2, I think Palpatine/Sidious is trying to defeat all opposition to the republic by creating the clones. Once he's in control of everything, he'll make the republic an empire. Somewhere in between, he'll reveal himself as Darth Sidious and somehow someway Anakin becomes Darth Vader after fighting Obi-wan for some weird reason. Then Padme will have the kids, and it'll kinda end like the fake plot from that site

pretty good story/plot, I'd like to see all that happening, it makes sense. Unfourtunately, good ol' George will just balls it up as usual, cos he's too stubborn to hand over the directors chair to someone half decent.

Just an idea, but: This should be what Ep2&3 should have been all about. Then get rid of Ep1 and replace it with a shortened (& better directed etc.) version of what is currently Ep2. (sorry if that sounds confusing)

If half of what happens in that outline happens in the actual movie....i'm probably going to cry until i die. That was horribly retarded.

I know exactly what you were saying sgt. BF, you want George to completely change the prequel Star Wars....and thusly ruin it.....mmmm, good plan

JangoFett91...if you can give me the exact link to the page on starwars.com that contains that same plot outline.....then i might possibly think of believing it. But i still most likely would not. It's rediculous!

I didnt' even enjoy reading it........Oh dear....the Jedi who do not fear death and protect the peace are scared of being arrested...so lets go kill our friends! And even though Yoda has stated that there are only two sith at a time......we suddenly have 8 of em just runnin around....And then we have Anakin who can not even be injured by Darth Banes amazingly powerful force lightning, but is fatally wounded by getting lightninged by Palpatine......stupidstupidstupid

If Vader is only going to be in the movie for 10 min, then that means...

1. The reported fight between him and Obi won will be short or left to explaination.

2. Him being saved by the Emporer and placed in the suit and becoming Vader will be left to explaination.

.

3. There wont be any scenes of him hunting down the Jedi, instead it will be left to explaination....

I remember watching EP4 when I was a young boy and have been waiting for YEARS to see the final episode. If Vader only gets 10 min in the final movie, I will be really dissapointed.

1) The reported fight is between Anakin and Obi-Wan and will result in Anakin being so badly injured that he has to be put into the suit. It wouldn't eat up any of the alotted 10 minutes of Anakin in the suit.

2) Again him being saved by Palpatine will probably mostly be shots of him, mutilated, in a bacta tank then, maybe, the mask and helmet going over his head. Won't eat up much time.

3) In the last 10 minutes of AotC, we had the first battle of the Clone Wars and three lightsaber duels.

I agree that story didnt make much sense. Why would bane work to get rid of vader palpatine theyre sith he likes sith doesnt he? makes no sense. And this obsesion of making vader more powerful then yoda. BS! BS! BS! THeres no way in hell vader is more powerful then yoda. Imho if yoda woulda faced vader in a fight or faced even palpatine in a fight there wouldnt have been 3 movies. Just one.

Maybe Yoda's the one who cut off Anakin's legs :D

Anyway, the reason I think Yoda went into hiding is because the Jedi have been accused of treason for one reason or another. If it was a matter of killing off two Sith Lords, sure, Yoda wouldn't have much trouble with it in the condition he's in in SW2... but this guy's the leader of the Republic at the time and the Jedi are sworn to protect the Republic... nice paradox they've gotten themselves into.

Then again, Yoda warned Luke not to underestimate the Emperor (the Emperor in particular)... why would Yoda say that unless he had done the same and lost? He hasn't gone up against Sidious yet, he doesn't even know Sidious exists, really... why would he tell Luke not to underestimate this guy?
