The true phantom menace is Jar Jar,yes it's that shocking, he's the true phantom menace because he asks 2 give emergency powers 2 Palpatine, and thats y he had so much screen time in PM. What do u guys think.

Oh, Jar Jar is definitely a menace. in fact, much of what transpires in Episode III can be blamed on him.

Im pretty damn sure the phantom Menace is Darth Maul/Sidious. They are mysterious Sith that reveal themselves and wreak hovac. Jar Jar. LOL.

Oh, most certainly. For example, Quigon and Obiwan could have attempted to trek across Naboo on foot rather than getting there rather quickly in the bongo, thus being much too late to save Amidala. Of course, you said toss him out of an airlock, so I guess it's envitable that they met. So, maybe Amidala could have returned to Naboo with no knowledge of a Gungan army available to support her--and no way of knowing how to contact them even if she DID know of them--thus having to face the Droid army on the field with only a handful of Naboo volunteer troopers.

 

Then again, you might refer to episode II and Jar Jar casting the vote to give Palpatine power. In which case, if Palpatine hadn't been able to secure power by having someone else suggest the vote (say, through a mind trick) then maybe he'd just have Dooku attack Coruscant straight out with the droid army. At which point he might go ahead and show his true colors, collect up the clone army to bolster the droid army, and rule absolutely anyway. I'd imagine what happened was pretty inevitable; sadly it just makes Jar Jar the scapegoat.

I can stand him, but I'll agree that he's annoying too. I think keeping the socially/physically inept part of his character wouldn't hurt if they toned down trying to make him "cute" for the kids.

exactly, JarJar was just too much of an in my face character.....nothing he says ever goes unnoticed.....it's as loud and annoying as possible! *shudder* Tone him down and he is and acceptable character

Hopefully they'll rate Episode III NC-17, to incoporate the horribly gruesome death of Jar Jar, as Anakin/Vader turns his lightsaber to the lowest setting, slowling searing all the flesh from his body. To top it off, he'll be eating some salt and vinegar jedi chips, which just happen to be falling all over the wounds.......Now that's a death!!
