[RAA]-=Chi3f=-
Hello I have a GeForce III ti500 and I love it! I built my pc last summer and I almost went with a GeForce 2, but I'm glad I didn't You can see how good your system is running games by using 3dmark 2001 (it's free). Go HERE for 3dmark 2001
Yoda_623
I have a GeForce 2. Its a great card. Before I had a ATI somethin. But, anyway the GeForce 2 works great, and if you don't want a super exspensive card check it out.
Pedantic
I have a cheap card, too! It's an ATI Radeon 32MB DDR LE (the "LE" denoting "Limited Edition"). It's actually supposed to be a card distributed in Asia, but some made their way here, in which case I snatched one up, 'cause it was way cheaper and a few registry hacks can get back all of the functions disabled by the card. Darth Gecko
GeForce 4 Ti550? Never heard of it. I got the Ti4600 though and it ownz:mob:
Homosexual Ewok
I have the ti500 also. I thought about going with the G4 ti4600 but there is really nothing to gain from a ti500 to a ti4600 upgrade unless you want to run at a higher frame rate when in very high resolutions. And since I run at a steady 100+ FPS, I saw no real reason to blow 400 bones. I'll wait for the GeForce 5 line, by then you should see plenty of new technology. BTW, the ti200 is a very smart choice for upgrades, the price is very sweet and it is not that much slower than the ti500.

[RAA]-=Chi3f=-
The GeForce4 Ti4600 has been getting rave reviews in pc mags. Unless you're running at a high res like 1600x1280 or higher, it's overkill. But, *sigh*, still wish I had one. I'll wait till the GeForce5 comes out, LOL
Wicket the Ewok
I've just upgraded my computer from a P3-500/TNT2u to a P4 2.26Ghz/Gainward Golden Sample Ti4600 (basically an overclocked Ti4600 card). The difference is noticable. I always thought "LE" stood for "Lite Edition". Maybe I'm wrong....

I get like 90fps online in JO2, but I get like 300+ in Counter Strike.
