I'm curious about something I observed in a TeamFFA server a few weeks ago: I was Red and it appeared that a Blue player became Red and began killing himself over and over. This effectively lowered the Red score to like -70 or something. Meanwhile... a Blue player was doing the same thing. (the game was pointless at this time... so I just watched the madeness). It was obvious that the two idiots were attempting to affect the scores by using /kill, but how did they switch from one team to the other... that doesn't appear to be possible from the player menu. Is there a console command that would allow this? BTW, the Red hari kiri guy was in the Conference room of the StarDestroyer and the Blue suicide junkie was near the trash compactor. I think I might've been able to ForcePush him in and activate once... he quit right after I did that. OR at least spawned somewhere else. It really didn't look like the players disconnected and then reconnected. I could have sworn I saw at least one of them in the opposite color just seconds earlier. I tried to change teams and couldn't see how to do it. I even looked through the Jedi Knight command set that someone posted on a website, but the only thing I saw that looked similar was the "name" command. BTW, it appeared to me that someone was using this binded to a key(s) to avoid being kicked on a server a while back. The name change was subtle... like a case change on a letter or something. Just press escape, and then click where it says "join" up towards the top left. I little menu will pop down that says "red team" "blue team" and "spectator". I was looking under Player... that's where it shows up when you first connect, so I assumed... but then my old Platoon Sergeant used to say "Never Assume! When you do, you make and "Ass" out of "U" and "Me!" I don't usually play the Team servers, but have been lately for a change of pace. I was playing on a TFFA sever and my team and I were owning major bootay. then a guy joins the other team. now this guy is a major backsweep whore and he starts racking up kills like there's no tomarrow. then one of the guys on my team joins the other team. then another and another and another. now the teams are so un even and everyone on that is spamming backsweep. so I switched teams and started to suicide. to punnish the traitor scum. now I only did this in the last five minutes of that game and they still won (-5 to -7). oh course the people who would do this just so they're team could win are total morons:rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
