I am confused as how to execute this move, ive encountered people who have used it on me, but no one will show me or tell me how its done. DO I need to be pressing against the target or just next to it? Thanks for your time. and what is DPA or DJA or whatever, ive seen it mentioned before?

You can practice kicking on a wall. Just run towards the target, and when you are close jump toward it and then hit jump again. You will flip off them backwards.

Are you referring to the DFA? That is the Heavy Finisher move. You know, the one in red stance where you jump forward and bury your saber in the ground at the end of the move.

I played for a long time till I FINALLY got it and its really quite simple.

To execute the move, be in red stance, and press attack. Your character will start to raise his saber over his head, getting ready to strike. When you see the saber over the head, tap up.

Ive tried everything and i just cant kick. Its bloody annoying. Ive remapped to 5 on the keypad, the second mouse button, I double tap while pressing agsint a person or a wall, all i end up doing is jumping like an idiot. This pisses me off that i cant execute such a simple move. :(

for the front flip, i think you have to sort of "jump into" the wall. Try this:

ONLY strafe into a wall ( so you're going sideways)

while your feet are running but you arent going anywhere(because the wall is stopping you) tap jump. This executes a sidekick.

hmmmm, ok. But how do you execute a front kick? Can someone show me on some server?

like in bespin, instead of kicking off a wall i end up kicking a guy down the stairs :D

happens all the time to me too

and BTW: the JHQ servers are all running 1.04 now, so if you want to play on em to talk to one of the clan members about kick you'll have to be on 1.04;)

I kick the crap out of people all the time. A good kick does about 25hp worth of damage through any sheild amount. Look for a kick script if you have trouble exec it. Then one you get a feel for the dynamics just ditch the script. But the best way to learn to kcik is to goto ffa Bespin and use all of the walls there. Run up to a wall and as soon as you hit it double tap the jump key twice very very fast. The result will be a kick. Bind jump to mouse 2 so that it is easy to use. Thats all. Just practice it on bots when you get the hang of it. Combine choke then a kick and then a dfa to get easy kills. To do dfa stand still and swing your saber. As both hands grasp the hilt hit f+a+j and you got it. Then play with it a little as you move around and through different swings.

usually around 200. I have tried walls, it works like 1/5 of the time, and i have to pound the jump key with my right hand, so i cant use the mouse to execute it. Using the secondary mouse button makes no difference. Im gonna just have to face that the kick will never be part of my arsenal. Oh well, I went 10 and 2 on a duel server w/o it or backslash. I got killed twice, once to a backslash/pull and once to a DFA when i backed up into a pillar in duel-carbon. =)
