mastercheech Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 In every game I play now if there is meant to be a sky instead of the sky being shown in all its greatness with the clouds and everything.... It just shows BLACK. Why Me? Did I install a faulty mod or something? I really need to change this. I really love the levels with sky because its such a change from alot of the indoor maps. Please I appreciate any help on this matter. Thankyou.
QuietSith Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 In console: r_fastsky "0" In config: seta r_fastsky "0"
Darth Kaan Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 This usually happens when you chose the fast option in settings. To fix it, open your jk2config.cfg file in your base folder. Find the setting: seta r_fastsky and make sure it is set to "0" IE: seta r_fastsky "0" If it is set to "1", you will get all black skies.
Darth Kaan Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 Ack! Sorry Sith, you posted while I was typing. Didnt mean to be redundant.
QuietSith Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 No problem at all. I don't hold a copyright on the information. Too much information is usually better than none.

Agen Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 you don't need to open config, i used to have this prob too, jsut put r_fastsky 0 in the console in mp. and once again you'll be able to see the light again.
