Actually I just wanted to see if anybody has played Warcraft III yet and if so how far are you? That was the one where you need to stop the evil Dread Lord King or whatnot from ascending to the summit for 45 minutes, yes? Simple - take one or both of the gold mines by your base, and spit out units like no tomorrow - Bears, Archers, and Huntresses for Ground, Hippogryph Riders and Druids of the Talon for air. But yeah, I like every race (Humans especially for the versatility, even if their units suck vs. a specialized attack. ), and have really enjoyed the game so far past the infinite zerg over ladder. Yawnnnnn........ If I had wanted that, I would have played more Starcraft versus the map hackers. But no matter - besides rush, it's a pretty solid game with unit counters for all but a few tactics, which will be patched over time, and a few totally useless units.... Darth Talliusc Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 ive beaten sp, working on icons on b.net, up to like 17 human victories. night elf levels are fun, i always end up using those claw druids, they just own. hope that helps you, im sure you will be able to beat it soon. Pvt_Dancer Posted July 23, 2002 Share Posted July 23, 2002 I bought the game a couple of days ago and have played it a little. On the whole I think thats its a very pretty game. Nice new edition of the game but.... It just doesn't seem as though there are really that many changes. Nothing that seems revolutionary. At the beginning of development it seemed as though it would be a really different game than the last two Warcrafts... not losing the Warcraft RTS feel but different. Gradually as development went on it seems they have returned to the tried and true game mechanics./ Its ok.... good. Really fun but I was expecting something else I guess.
