gavor Posted July 26, 2002 Posted July 26, 2002 Hiya all, I'm back online and i'm living in Brisbane. Still unemployed, but I have a rental to myself for a while. A desk, a chair, a PC and a blow-up mattress are all the furniture I have right now. On the road trip I visited Canberra and took the long way through the mountains. Finally, i've seen snow firsthand and made a snowman. I also got out my bodyboard and did some snow-surfing. Very cool. I've got a web site of pics if anyones interested in pics of me and my friends doing things, just say the word and i'll post it. I've had a lot of fun getting here, but now i'm here alone and i'm a bit bored. Lots to say, not sure where to start. I'll leave it for now and go finish making my pasta . FunClown Posted August 12, 2002 Posted August 12, 2002 Hey Gavor, I hope you're enjoying you're stay here, I'm sure you'll learn to love Brisbane. Its a nice place to live though I've lived here all my life, and wouldn't want to move. The life style is much more laid back than Sydney or Melbourne so I've heard which is what I like. But being from Adelaide I'm sure the culture is more closer to Brisbane anyway. However, I would agree, jobs are much harder to find here than down south.

Fear not, i haven't abandoned the forum, i've been doing most of my posting at SWG Downunder. Also looking for jobs and trying to settle down in a new state. I'm soon to start helping out at an SWG news site so i havent dropped out of the SWG scene, just hibernating.
