Admiral Odin Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 I just had another surgery. So of course I signed my name to more documents then I care to remember. Now I was just to be released and they had one final thing for me to sign. No problem right. Well... 1. I was on pain medication, ect. 2. They just advised me not to sign any legal documents. 3. After the advisment not to sign my name, they have me sign my name to a document stating I understand that I shouldn't sign my name to any documents. I had the greatest urge to tell the Nurse, that I refuse to sign this because they told me I shouldn't just a minute ago. Although I love, the idea of them giving a piece of paper that says don't sign your name to anything, then have me sign it.
edlib Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 Actually, this sounds more like a lawyer thing. Either way it's pure genius though.
Jem Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 That's because you didn't read the fine print... Now if you please:
Admiral Odin Posted August 1, 2002 Author Posted August 1, 2002 Reason: If the hospital doesn't tell you this, you can sign something, get screwed and then sue the hospital. By signing the document, they can say you knew you weren't supposed to sign anything. You know what is really fun. After surgery, if you have a drain, watch the blood drip into it.
Rebel Loyaltist Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Do what Dale Gribble always does. 1. Run away 2. Sign Rusty Shackalpord
