He is bizarre, what about his different coloured eyes. I went to school with a girl who had the same thing, her eyes didn't match colours.

Don't really follow Bowie, but loved his version of Heroes at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 92..........

I saw Bowie as a kid and thought he was bizarre. Now I appreciate his work because I've been in music for so long. I like the song he did with Trent Reznor, Look @ America, was it

He was cool in Labrynth too, BTW :D

OMG -=Chi3f=-! I totally love those shots, hell with 1,000 I am using it now dammit. PS I have other Avatars I made I usally go with some version of mall but I am using the Thin White Duke to solute my favorite all time artist. Thanks again for the pics!:D

His eyes are not different colors, some photos make it seem like it is. Watch the video for "Life on Mars" He got into a fight when he was a child and his eye was permately damaged causing his pupil to not be able to dilate but also giving the allusion of a different color. He never fixed it because it is like his trademark. David is unusual I agree, but that is what I like about him. He is so not predictable, and he is never afraid to experiment outside his boundries. I absolutely love this guy!

I am bumbing this thread because the Bowie show is tonite, and I am so exitec! This will be the first time I have ever seen him in any venue. Bowie is my favorite artist of all time and I would match him up against anyone. Even though Moby is the headlinging act, the Area 2 show also features Busta Ryhmes, and Blue Man Group which is another one I am looking forward too. As soon as i get home tonite I will let you all know how cool it was!

I have so many favorites I can't even list them. If I had to pick one I guess I would go with Ashes To Ashes, that is an amazing song with a wicked video to go with it:D

Bowie is very involved in the pc world. His websight one several awards a year or so ago. The best part is that he frequents the site and interacts with his fans. I have not heard of that game until now, but I am interested! Also as a side note one of his songs was used in Starship Troopers during the homecoming dance sequence only 3 girls sang it and they changed the words quite a bit.

Well I just got back from the seeing Bowie at Area 2, and my throat is sore from screeming at that man. I was totally blown away, He opened up with "Life On Mars?", then dug into "Cactus" off of the Heathen album. Highlights of this amazing show would be "Heroes", "Fashion", "Fame", "China Girl", "I'm Afraid of Americans", "Let's Dance", and he closed with the best version of "Ziggy Stardust", I have ever heard. 54 and sexy as hell, Bowie is the most magnificent artist I have ever encountered. I feel my life is complete now that I have seen him finally. Of course I changed my avatar becuase System of a Down is Saturday and I am pumped for that as well. I was also knocked out by Blue Man Group, and will probably arrange to see them again too. Anyways, If anyone ever gets a chance to see the Thin White Duke which is David, don't hesitate.........just go!
