deadwood
I was excited about Episode II coming out on DVD and VHS until I saw the price on jediknightii.net. Does anyone else think this price is a bit outrageous. I realize I may be talking to die hard star wars fans who would literally happily pay double but what about us normal folk who are star wars fans? What do you think? Exar Kun II
If you have a Best Buy or Wal-Mart in your area, these outlets usually have big name DVD/VHS titles at special reduced prices for the first week.

Kryllith
Yeah, that's a tad expensive, since DVD's statewise usually start out around $20-25. Of course, it also depends on the amount of DVD's in the set. I'm guess there are at LEAST 2 DVD's in the Ep II set. Anyone remember what the initial cost for the TPM DVD set was? FunClown
hmmm, I'm in Australia so there's no walmart here. Looks like I'll have to fly my private jet over to the US to get those walmart specials. Can't go past a bargain. Actually, I 'm pretty sure where I could get it cheap. There are a couple of shops near me. But that initial price. Hot cheese!! Norin Radd
I know it's a 2 DVD set, like the TPM. One for the extras, the other for the movie itself. The initial price for TPM was $22.99, but Best Buy had it for the first week for $15.99. They will do the same for Episode II, I'm fairly certain. They are already doing it for LOTR. Ratmjedi
How much is the DVD? It can't be that much. I mean DVD's are usually in two price ranges. There are you're regular DVD's that usually cost around 16-20 Dollars. Then there are you're DVD's that were better that include more stuff and are two disk which go for around 20-25 Dollars. DVD'S are just like that. I usually pay around 16-20 Dollars. How much do you guys pay for DVD'S? Oh and whoever said go to Wal-mart I hate Wal-mart and Boycott the place. They suck Best Buy is way better! Best Buy is cheaper and they always have what you're looking for:) Thats my two-cents!
Exar Kun II
DVD's at Wal-Mart can sometimes be cheaper than at Best Buy, believe me. I have a Best Buy and a Wal-Mart right next to each other and have compared prices on DVD's many times. Though, DVD's are as high tech a medium as I would buy from Wal-Mart. TV's, VCR's, DVD players, video games, game consoles, computer parts, go to Best Buy. On second thought. . .get your computer hardware online, it's cheaper.
