GendoTheGreat
I think the subject is pretty self-explanatory. Since there's one of these for songs, I thought I would take the initiative - grab the bull by the nuts, so to speak - and do a seperate one for movies. It can be something you saw at the cinema, something you really like, or, as in my case, whatever you rented recently. Here's a list of what I got this week: Snake Eyes - Nicolas Cage, Gary Sinise Jackie Brown - Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson House on Haunted Hill - Geoffrey Rush, Famke Jannsen The Haunting - Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta-Jones Stir of Echoes - Kevin Bacon Zoolander - Ben Stiller Down Periscope - Kelsey Grammer High Society - Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra Take Me Out to the Ball Game - Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly Oedo 808: Virtual Death --\ Oedo 808: Psychic Trooper - Anime Oedo 808: Blood Lust -----/ Royal Space Force - Anime

GendoTheGreat
I remembered this one just now: Schindlers List. Was that a brilliant film or was that a brilliant film?
Isis Kaldara
I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Brilliant, but the fact that my Social Studies teacher fastforwarded through all the good scenes, like the little girl in red, made it bite. Darth Eggplant
if you liked Schindlers List. then you would like Varians War with William Hurt. William Hurt plays american Varian who under the assistance and support of Elanor Roosevelt and the intellectual crowd raise money so he could go to occupied france and save as many of the great painters, poets, writers and musicians that they could from being taken out by the Natzi's. One of the famous ones they saved was Marc Chegal. The movie featured one of his trips I believe he made a couple. the movie is great cause he is not a soldier or a spy and yet he acts so bumbling that no one but the underground resistance takes him serious and he gets away with it. great movie but one of those made straight for HBO or video types so almost no one has ever seen or heard of it. *a different type of movie but a fav of mine; Haunted Summer it is about Shelly and Byron hanging out together in 1816 or whatever the date was and it was about the contest which Mary Shelly penned Frankenstein.*
Darth Eggplant
being an ex-photolab tech, and still having friends in the industry, we all can not wait to go see 1 HOUR PHOTO next friday. all I can say is I wish I had stock in Digital Cameras cause if this film freaks people like I think it will, loads of folk are going to buy digital cameras for X-mas and the holiday season. we as a group of lab people are most likely going to book a movie vip room, cause we will be way to rowdy watching this flick. anyhow think of me, creepy as it sounds and the character Robin Williams is playing won't seem so far fetched. Darth Eggplant
this friday the media is saying 'Red Dragon' is the first chapter in the Hannibal Lector story, but another movie called 'Manhunter' was made years ago, and it had a different actor but he played hannibal long before Anthony Hopkins immortalized the role. this movie is playing on the movie network this month and they are saying it is the first chapter in hannibal's saga. I am not so familiar with the author who wrote the stories, if anyone out there is, please help set the record straight.
