Q: Validation of character is an important part of Sci-Fi film discuss with reference to two films. Boba Rhett
I think that means that the author shows that the character, wether it be a villain or hero, could be a real person within the boundries of the world setup for them in the book. I'd say that would be important. Well, there's my shot in the dark.

Sivy
I think that you may have misinterpreted the question, The validation (or justification) of character in films, meaning why is it important to have characters. i.e. characters with personality (or characters with character).in other words, why is character building important. The answer is, I think, is so you get emotionally involved in the film. Because who would want to watch a film were you don’t care who lives or dies or who wins, who losses. If I was doing your essay I would pick one film (e.g. star wars) were you care about what happens to the character(s). One film (e.g total recall) were you couldn’t care less how it ends as you are not emotionally involved (well i wasn't)
