Reb Starblazer
Ah, using Quenya are we Rhett, Ancient language of the elves. Supposedly even the Elves don't use that one much, it's kinda like our Latin. I know what your custom Title means, nice BTW. As for what it means, I feel that it's up to Rhett to release that information, not I.

Boba Rhett
I think it's supposed to be Istar instead of Istari. Not sure.
Reb Starblazer
Actually Rhett, I think that it may be Istar, as Istari seems to mean the entire order, not an individual. It fits quite well with the story though, what he'd be called in Quenya. A good choice, I must say. As for me, I think I'd have a custom title of "I mornie tana varya I kala" If you check it and it seems kinda paradoxical, check out the Academy Wars episode II thread, and it might make a bit of sense. Wish I could have a custom title. Oh well, only another *checks post count* lot of posts...

Reb Starblazer
Well, after reading the new replies to this thread, it seems that no one really noticed my edit to my last post, so I'll just say here, that yes, you're right Rhett, "I mornie tana varya I kala" does in fact mean "The Darkness that protects the Light". Darth Talliusc
just thought of the perfect elvish title for me and..... i realized that i have a SMALL ways to go yet, and knowing these forums it will be uncool by then and ill be shunned for my elvish title.... jk. are there any other dictionaries like this? i mean for dwarven and such.
Reb Starblazer
Well, the problem with Khuzdul, the Dwarven language, is that it's not really known and explained like Quenya was. The only Dwarven words that are known are the ones used in the books, whereas Quenya and Sindarin have been explained very well and have their own appendices. There are very few known Dwarvish words and phrases, whereas Elvish languages were created wholly, and are languages unto themselves. So I don't know if you can find one for Dwarven Talliusc, but there's plenty out there for Elvish.
