*All Jedimod 1.2 options

 

*Level 4 force powers.

 

[example ]

Jump: Level 3:- Jump 8x normal height.

- 2/5 normal force cost in flight.

- Falling damage reduced to 1/2.

Level 4:- Jump 16x normal height.

- Jumps costs are minimal while in flight.

- Falling damage reduced to 1/4.

 

*5 new force mastery levels

 

*Jetpack

- can be limited just to the Fetts

- An option for Jetpack fuel(can define consumption)

 

*Light and Darkside Powers Combined(useable by bots as well)

 

*Limitations to dual/two saber usage. (saber attack ratings determine available stances and dual/two saber wielding ability)

 

*Countless cvars to modify gameplay

 

[example]

 

Red force grip hand can be turned off.

Flashing green sheild(when players get hit) can be turned off.

 

*New Tckmodel.cfg list (not my newest though unfortunately)

 

 

Look for the icon limit fix in the next version.

Wow, this mod is INCREDIBLE, I've yet to utilize the Full potential of this mod, I just wanted to say Darth Syrup you have done a GREAT JOB, now I will go back and play some more with my new Toy.:D

 

I'm so glad that Dest and The Eternal were kind enough to let you merge their work with yours...Saves me from making a new thread asking if ForceMod can be JediMod 1.2 Compatible.:D :D

It`s a shame you removed the ability to knock sabers to the floor, from your mod. I am puzzled why you did this.

I didn't - it's a benefit from having level 4 saberThrow. If someone has level 3 saberthrow or less, it'll still fall to the floor.

 

Btw ! what are you planning for the next version

I'll post some ideas later this week - gotta head to school, but i'm already working on it.

 

i miss the saber pack, which was included in jedimod v1.2???

Yeah, i was hoping most people would already have the pack, so they wouldn't have to download such a big file. If the demand is high enough i could add it to later versions, though.

Yes, you do need to edit the bot files to only have them use guns, but that has little to do with the mod. You also might want to edit the botfiles to assign level 4 force powers to your bots. Asked for the jetpack, bots cannot use the jetpack as of yet. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next version.

I will, in due time. I want to get all the bugs fixed first, and once it's out of beta, i will.

 

You also might want to edit the botfiles to assign level 4 force powers to your bots.

 

If you don't want to edit your botfiles, if f_powerbots is set to 1 on the server (which it is by default), all of your bot's force powers will automatically be upgraded one level if they're not at 0 (i.e. Level 3 -> Level 4, etc...)

 

Do you have to make you bot files to make the bots use the jetpack and only have guns?

Don't worry about the guns only part, we can just disable their lightsabers in the code if we have to. i was thinking you could specify if a bot had a jetpack in the same script (*.bot or bots.txt files) where you specify what hilt/sabercolor/personality...etc the bot has, and a cvar would dictate on what conditions you could use it. So give 'em fancy sabers and you won't have to go back and edit them.

Tchouky and i are looking at how to help bots use the jetpack logically, he's suiting up a bot right now to see what he will do.

Special weapon!!!

Hi, I think, the problem with the weapon limit,... well what would be, if you can choose a special weapon!!!

 

Like you can change the saber hilts?

 

Let me explain:

You can choose between special weapons... there is the saber, the shocker and maybe you can have also Jangos blasters or a Naboo Blaster, Han Solos Blaster....

any weapon!!!

 

or weapons, who have the same munition can be changeable with another weapon, such tings!!!

 

but I think, selectable special weapons would be the best!!!

 

isn#t that possible? so there wouldn't be more weapons and you have to select between lightsaber, shocker or other special weapons, like you do it with saber hilts!!!

 

That would be also fair, because so not everybody uses lightsabers!!!

There are then also special weapons!!!

That's possible, i'll have a look at it. At the very least, i can put another variable in (similar to hilt2) that replaces the bryar pistol with the special gun model thru the console.

What I mean is could you have a twin exhaust texture for the twin jets of the fett jetpacks and maybe an invisible one with a different or no sound for the Maw model?

 

We'll see - i have quite a few things on the list to update for the next version, so i don't know how soon something like that would be possible, but it's a good idea.
