Remi Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 Did anybody check out Conan O'Brien on Comedy Central last night (or NBC the day before)? He had a cool interview with Tom Kenny, voice of Deadeye Dave and one of the Lawyers in EMI, and although he didn't talk about Monkey Island, he had some interesting info on how he was inspired to do certain voices... Worth checking out if it comes in repeat.
Metallus Posted September 6, 2002 Posted September 6, 2002 I think I caught most of that interview. It was very amusing. I didn't realize that guy did so many different voices! Sounds like a pretty good gig.
Hellbeard Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 Gary Coleman was on Dennis Miller Live a few years ago, he mentioned how he was the voice of Kenny Foulmouth in CMI.
movieclockstar Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 tom kenny rules. he does a few voices on spongebob squarepants and a few on powerpuff girls, 2 of the best cartoons ever. and yes, he's done some lucasarts voice acting, too. can't remember all of it, haven't checked the archives in a bit. any way... talented guy.
Tmansdc Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 Ah yes Tom Kenny, I saw him at Comic-Con 2002 a month or so ago. got my book signed by him too although he signed it "Mayor" (voice of Mayor in Powerpuff Girls) Although I did learn how he does Spongebob's laugh which was cool. Also the voices of Pinky and The Brain were there to, not to mention wakko and yakko warner, etc etc. and the original voice of Space Ghost was there along with Jim Cummings (current voice of Pooh, Darkwing Duck, etc.)
