Agen Posted September 9, 2002 Share Posted September 9, 2002 Well it's because it was heavily hogging down ther server and making it go off-line, so they disabled it for the time being cos' the admins have to pay out of their own pockets. I think so anyway. Correct. The search is quite CPU intensive on the server, and this is a busy little server. Searches bring the whole site to its knees.
