UltimateZeus
Hi, Here are some screenshots of the map for the final level of the jk1 TC for jk2 : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/zeusjk2/files/jk1screens.zip If that link doesn't work try this one : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jk2001/files/jk1screens.zip If the download limit is exceeded try again later. Sorry for the bad host - if anyone else will host it and post the link here, that will be great. Let me know what you think. If anyone can suggest or let me know where to get better textures, that would be great. Zeus
Takeoffyouhoser
It looks pretty neat... The textures seem a bit strange looking though...
WhiteShdw
Nice. I hope it has some good gameplay. I never played the original JK, so it's a completely new level to me Looking forward to it.
NakTawii
You got one big problem...that place look like you build it with gold...you can make it a little red-brownish
jesseg88
I think the textures are WAY too repetitive. Other than that, the architecture is good.
The Truthful Liar
No offense, but you used the Jk1 to Jk2 level/map converter.
inbredyokel
It looks like a nice start, but it seems like you just took the same Jk1 architexture and slapped on some repetative textures. As it currently stands, the old maps almost look better. I'd suggest taking what you have, using a little artistic license and making the architexture look more complex and realistic, and using entirely different textures for everything. I'm guessing one of the other mappers or skinners on the JK1 tc would be glad to make you some new ones. Right now all the bright colors and stretched/repeating textures are really killing it. Grets Sirob
Hmm, I wonder why that happens every time. You post something showing some stuff you're in the process of making, and everyone treats it as the final product. It gets very annoying... But hey, don't mind me, flame away... (Note to self: Don't post pictures of my level until it's 100% done...)

Then you have to wait for a few weeks as you 'build the level'....and then you.....it's late

(Note to self: Don't post pictures of my level until it's 100% done...) No one is flaming you. It's all constructive criticism, as far as I can see from what's been posted. That's kind of the whole point of posting a WIP thread - to get feedback on ways you can improve your map before you release a boring, texture repeating map that no one will play. And it'd be pointless to post pictures of a level that's 100% when you could just release it. -Anakin
Grets Sirob
Ok yeah, sorry about that guys, I was a bit tired, in sort of a bad mood. Silly me, not listening to my own rule, "Think before you post." Oh well, I'm sorry. Maybe I should try and see what would happen if I posted my screenshots, hmmm... Worth a try... UltimateZeus
Thanks everyone for the comments. Don't worry, the textures are temporary. This is still in major construction - I might redo most of it.
