NerfYoda Posted October 5, 2002 Share Posted October 5, 2002 I don't know the details (like if it checks an MD5 sum or whatever), but a pure server compares the clients pk3 files to the server's pk3 files. If the file contents dont match the server will think the client is using an invalid (or hacked) pk3 file & not let them on the server. Unpure servers don't check this.
