jestar_jokin Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 PNG injector for Monkey Island 1 You can achieve this with a bit of effort and some tools from http://www.jestarjokin.net/ (at least, for Monkey Island 1 CD). Use ScummPacker to extract the game resources, SCUMM Image Encoder (mi2img) to convert between PNG and the game files, and pack the game again with ScummPacker. You can only do things with backgrounds, and it's limited to 160 colours. The extracted files you need are RMHD (header information), SMAP, (the actual image data), and CLUT (the palette).
dcnigma Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 @jestar_jokin Thx for the info gone try that
purple_tentacle_ Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I think some kind of animation ripper would be quite good. Like you select your game, then character, then you see a list of all the animations they have, and you can convert it to .gif at the touch of a button! It would be a lot easier than sticking loads of skins together, and the end result would probably be a lot less jerky. I...would love that!!!!!!!!
