wassup
Name: Darth Balar Race: Unknown Special Powers: Force Fire (think Force Lightning but with fire shooting out of hands) Weapons/Supplies: Quad-saber (2 double lightsabers, one in each hand) Accomplice: None After the defeat of Desann by the fabled Jedi Knight Kyle Katern, the Imperial Remnant continued its Force-imbueing experiments it started on Kejim (first levels of JKII:JO). Tavion, who fled after her defeat at the hands of Kyle, journeyed to the unknown planet that the Imperial Remnant were doing their hidden experiments on. Soon, they were successful in imbueing an unknown humanoid with incredicle Force powers. Rumors are this unknown being has a midi-chlorian count of 100,000. Tavion took him to the legendary Valley of the Jedi, where the Sith spirits from a battle long forgotten were still trapped. The black warriorstepped into the glowing light that Kyle had stepped into not so long ago to regain his Force powers. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and the earth began to tremble. Dark spirits, by the thousands, began to circle at tremendous speeds around the dark warrior. Fire leapt from the cracks and lava lunged from beneath the planet. The spirits shot into the dark being, imbueing him with tremendous dark powers. Then, as suddenly as it had began, the dark figure dropped to the ground, motionless. Tavion lay dead in a bloody heap of rocks and dust. The dark being began to stir, and slowly got back on his feet. He spoke, in a dark, cold voice:"I am fire, I am flame, I am the burning Darth Balar!" And thus the Sith were reborn...

Darth Vader 421
Name: Sith Master Darth Malice. Race: Unknown. Special Powers: Force Lightning, Force Destruction, Force Grip. Weapon/Supplies: Hypersaber. Accomplice: Sith Apprentice Darth Arkan (uses double-bladed lightsaber and Force Push). Raised by his Sith Master, Darth Bane, Darth Malice is the first Sith to take part in the "only two" rule. Using methods of stealth, Malice rose to the post of Sith Master when Bane passed away from very-old-age. A much more agressive Sith Lord, Malice chose an apprentice and decided to take matters into his own hands. Striking out against the Jedi, Malice killed several specific targets, one of which wounded him severely, cutting the front of his face away. Darth Arkan, finding him master, rebuilt him using cybernetic technology. Using state-of-the-art sensor systems, visual aids and speach replacers, Darth Malice could see all life-forms within a massive radius, being able to see attacks coming. Also, using a special eye-piece created by Darth Arkan, who was a master of technology, allowed the Dark Lord to see through walls, people and craft, seeking out Jedi who hid in fear. Creating his own weapon, Malice created the Hypersaber, a very special variation of the lightsaber. Using a mastery of magnetic fields, the Hypersaber had the ability to de-activate any lightsaber blade it touched, leaving a Jedi defenceless. Also, the Hypersaber was super-powerful, increased by several different crystals and a focus on the Dark Side from Malice himself. Finally meeting his death, Darth Malice foolishly attacked a Jedi Master named Namar, who was the great-grandfather of present Jedi Master Yoda, and was killed by the powerful Jedi Master. Darth Arkan, finding him master's Hypersaber, continued on the Sith Order, finding himself an apprentice and learning from Darth Malice: lying in wait and allowing the Jedi to prosper. AgentSmith
Nice efforts guys! But one thing I will say out of honesty and not malice in any way is what struck me about each character is their lack of -even SW universe related- realism. Like several qualitative lesser SW EU books where it seemingly is a race to have 'the biggest and most bad-ass superweapon that would surely beat the puny deathstar' you guys each created characters that feel rather unrealistic. Feels to me like you wanted to present your own superhero or supervillan that is so powerful he truly is unstopable and will win over anything and anyone. I don't mean that badly you know, but it sounds so easy you know, not like a flesh and blood 3D character.
Darth Vader 421
Sure, I gave Darth Malice the dreaded "Hypersaber", but he was defeated by a Jedi Knight! I didn't try to make Malice the most powerful, the best and indestructable: OK, I gave him a new weapon, but is that so bad? I moaned when I saw Darth Maul use a double-bladed lightsaber in Episode I, saying "They are trying to beat Vader, making Maul an unbeatable super-character.", but it turned out fine in the end, and Maul's character was great. I wasn't trying to be the best... I just find single-bladed, bog-standard, straight-forward lightsabers a tiny bit boring after watching so many characters use them: Maul and Dooku have got the best ideas. However, the thought of a lightsaber which de-activated other blades is a bit far-fetched... I will admit that...
Darth Vader 421
Oh, and Nuron Serott: Mandalorians are a race from the planet Mandalore. They created huge armies of soldiers outfitted with similar armour to Jango Fett, but were wiped out in a drastic civil war. Jango is one of the last remaining Mandalorian soldiers. I got this from an Episode II book. Enough said, I think...
Darth Kaan
The Mandalorians attacked the sith fleet in the Empress Teta system and in a standoff, Ulic Qel Droma challenged Lord Mandalore (leader of the Mandalorian's ) to a duel. The agreement between them was that the losers army was to serve the victors. Ulic won and the mandalorians became a part of the already vast Sith army. This happened long before EPII. I don't mean that badly you know, but it sounds so easy you know, not like a flesh and blood 3D character. i was just trying to make a explanation to the beginnings of JKII:JO single player where we see the imperials doing Force experiments. Yes my character sounds like the ultimate Sith warriot/villian, but I think I will have Kyle kill him off or Kyle and Luke together in an epic battle kill him... P.S. This would be a nice follow-up/expansion pack to JO in that it would explain the mysterious Force experiments by the Remnant IMHO...then again I'm just crazy... Darth Vader 421
I think AgentSmith is a bit pissed off, because he can't think of any great character/weapon to beat us (or any existing character/weapon)! Only joking, AgentSmith... Darth Kaan, no offense, but the Tales of the Jedi books are EU, and I hate EU! I was going by canon, by what was written in the films. But... a nice story, nontheless. Gee and I tried to be nice about it. *Sigh* I'll be blunt then with you guys and when I read the character posts by xX-Ender-Xx, wassup and Darth Vader 421 I got the impression -mind the language here, I got the 'impression', so that means I might be totally misinterpreting you guys- that you were each trying to outdo the other in some kind of contest in who has the 'biggest most bad ass powerful character'. Almost like you'd see arguments between peaople the genre of e.g. "Superman is so much more tougher than Spiderman!", "Nah-uh, the Punisher kicks them all." I didn't mean any harm or insult. If you took any offense I'm sorry ok?
Darth Vader 421
Maybe I should have underlined "only joking" in my last post... I was only joking, AgentSmith, and I'm sorry if you got the wrong end of the lightsaber. Mandalorians are a race, take it from me. Darth Vader 421
MANDALORIANS ARE A RACE OF ARMOUR-CLAD WARRIORS FROM THE PLANET MANDALORE, A DISTANT WORLD DEEP INSIDE THE OUTER RIM TERRATORIES. USING THEIR IMMENSE SKILL, POWER AND WEAPONARY, THEY JOINED ULIC-QEL DROMA IN A MASSIVE BATTLE AGINST THE REPUBLIC, BUT WERE ALL KILLED OR LOST ON A BRUTAL, HARSH UNHAITABLE WORLD. THE FEW SURVIVING MANDALORIANS (AND I MEAN ABOUT THREE) CONTINUED THE RACE IN HIDING UNTIL THE TIME WAS RIGHT TO STRETCH OUT INTO THE GALAXY AGAIN, WHEN TIME HAD FORGOTTEN THEIR DEFEAT. JANGO FETT IS THE LATEST MANDALORIAN TO LEAVE THE OTHERS, BECOMING A FEARSOME BOUNTY HUNTER AND SKILLED WARRIOR. The rest is common knowledge. You_Will_Die
All these characters sound really good, but I must agree with whoever said you are all trying to beat each other at creating a "super-character" (apart from your attempt, ET Warrior, that was a bit pathetic). If people at LucasFilm did that when creating new characters like Count Dooku and Jango Fett, Episode II would have been a tacky cash-in on the Star Wars universe. Sorry, Darth Vader 421, but your account of mandalorians coming from mandalore is wrong, too... what a great start to all this (my first post). Qui-Gon Jinn 64
Although my post count is drastically low, I can assure you that this is the first time I have ever entered this forum! I think the key is to create a character who, by all means, is better, badder and all round more powerful than the last. After all, we would not have Darth Maul, Mace Windu or the Death Star Two (not a character, but you get the drift). Amazingly, I prefer Maul to Vader, Mace to other Jedi Knights, and I think that all the made-up characters in here sound great. Well done! Qui-Gon Jinn still rules, however, and there should be some way to bring him back in Episode III!

Jedi_Monk
Alright... I think it's about time for me to join in on this. Name: No-No Gi Species: Myrkian Age: 400 Sex: Female Affiliation: Jedi Order Ocupation: Jedi Master Allow me to present... Jedi Master No-No Gi. Though she appears to be no more than an eight-year-old humanoid, she is in fact four hundred years of age--the only evidense of her age is her voice and wisdom. Because of her stature and appearance children find her unintimidating, so that, like Master Yoda, she trains Younglings at the Jedi Temple. But when called for to go into battle, she is a feirce fighter, using both telepathy and her amazing skills with the lightsaber. I created this character for my cousin. I asked her what name she wanted, and she said "I don't know", so, naturally, I first named her "I don't know", then this evolved, in a few seconds, to "No-No Gi". She hasn't been in any of my fan fictions so far, but I'm coming up with a story for her to star in, now. Her species is basically the Star Wars equivilent of an Elf, and the name of her homeworld is derived from Myrkwood Forest in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy.
