Well we don't know if they are truly a vacancy in the Force. Luke and many other say "the Force is life", in one of the books it says that they Yuuzhan Vong might be a part of a different aspect of the Force. Read Traitor it talks more about this.

At first I didn't like the NJO series but as I read there are some really good strories and characters. The first books were kind of a drag but after a while they pickup and get good.

i agree with above post (GJ igor). traitor offers a lot of new stuff to think about regarding... well everything SW.

i believe that what you read may well prove true. i can certainly see similarities between the vong and the sith. who knows it may even turn out that when palpatine died this was his ultimate revenge to scourge the galaxy. or maybe the sith were sent in to bring the galaxy to heal but when they failed it was the vongs turn to try it. OR it may even be that palpatine was a good sithlord (dont tell me its not possible please. my minds in hyper-state). and was protecting this galaxy from the more evil sith. palpatine couldve even been an exiled yuzhaan vong who was trying for nothing more then to survive and protect the galaxy that he loves (while cleaning it up by eliminating those he considers inferior).

i imagine that what all the NJO will come down to will involve palpatine, the truth about the force and Thrawn.

jacen is but the first of the new jedi, as luke was the first some time ago. vergere is more important then we thought before and soon the vong will be pawns under the new jedis feet.

feel free to argue (most) of what i said. with the EU anything can happen, the only thing you can count on is it being damn good to read.

message to those who dont share our love of the EU: i respect the fact that you dont like the EU but please dont tell us here, we EU lovers could care less what you do in your personal time or what you think of the EU authors. we love it and what you say wont change that. please respect this thread and the spirit with which it was made and dont post negative things here

(and for those who think that that last msg was for Rhett are dead wrong. i have had experience being flamed for likin the EU and what rhett did was NOT flaming)

actually, its prob not gonna involve thrawn, palpatine, and the truth of the force. its prob gonna involve somethin that NO ONE would think of......andf the destruction of the Vong will prob be from some weapon that they had all along and forgot about

interesting thought, i can see them leaving out palpatine, (they havent made many hints about him thus far) but the true nature of the force they've pretty much promised to give, the whole anakin/vergere higher learning thing. and as for thrawn he was just too dang important earlier to be left out. remember when elegos was with the vong? he told them of Thrawn and they considered him very important, and VERY scary. Thrawn is thus far the only one to invoke fear in the vong (that ive caught). the jedi dont really scare em, they enjoy confronting the jedi very much and they respect them but its not a fear case (again only my opinion plz dont flame me for it).

plus im a diehard Thrawn fan and id be very sad if they left Mitth'Raw'Nuruodo dead.
