MJ
Okay. Yes. Another important question. For the DVD release, do you want: a) the title 'Tierra de los Muertos' with a smaller subtitle translation 'Land of the Dead' b) Just Tierra de los Muertos I'll let the cat out of the bag here. There is going to be a sequal, and at this point if I stick with Spanish it will be called 'La Búsqueda de Big Kahuna'. If there's no subtitle on Tierra, there'll be no subtitle here. Depends if that annoys you overly.
Darth Eggplant
I say Spanish only because those who live in North America have spanish in their lives due to locale of Mexico and Central America. And for those living in Europe, Spain speakes ze espanol; at least they did last I checked. It also gives you a reason to expand your mind and learn something. and from a design point of view it is always a battle for space between text and graphic, so go colour happy and festive with happy smiling skeletons. *you note I did not include Australians when discussing geography, that's because you hijole pendacos don't count.*
Gabez
Sub-headings are useful for giving extra information about the game, when the game title alone is not enough. Like with Monkey Island 2, people have no idea what the game’s about. “LeChuck’s Revenge”, however, makes it pretty obvious. This is even more important if you are going to use a Spanish name. “La Búsqueda de Big Kahuna” might as well be written in Medieval Latin for all the sense it makes to me. “La Búsqueda de Big Kahuna: the return to the land dead” (example only!), makes much more sense. Same with Tierra. Short answer: yes!
LiMP RABBiT
I agree. I never knew that Tierra de los Muertos meant the land of the dead but it didn't really matter. But with the up-and-coming long windedly named sequal, it will matter more. La Búsqueda de Big Kahuna meens about as much to me as Ham Slowmos dodgy dialogue. Darth Eggplant
*sighs...you know the computer and internet is a wonderful tool, you can find sites to help you convert metric to imperial and vice versa you can find language pages, you can visit Latino chat rooms and start learning Spanish from someone new, or you can email the person doing the program and say; "Hey first time caller, long time listener, what does Tierra de los Muertos mean anyhow?" ultimately the decision lies with 8 of 12 and his artist friend. I am not terribly adverse to a subtitle but when you listen the naration does say what you are listening to, anyhow that is my opinion this early in the day waking up. I guess I am still cranky.*

Sanspoof
Subtitles are better for peeps not on the forums. It'll give them a sense of idealism as long as they've played GF.
MJ
Not really cryptic, no. Remember, Valora DeCazador was searching for the Treasure of the Big Kahuna.

MJ
Ah. Don't know if you've noticed, rabbit, but sarcasm doesn't really work when you're typing. I can't tell the difference.
